Democrats ARE For Open Borders

Obama withdrew automatic entrance of Cubans fleeing Castro. Democrats in congress had also proposed legislation to do the same, although I can't find it. But remember it.

Their argument is that Trump manufactured the crisis. I guess they think Trump sent invitations to the poor in Central America.

Once again, liberals are denied the right to have an opinion unless it is cleared by the outrage screech-fest on the Right. I could try to say that I support this measure even as I oppose relaxing border enforcement but I am not allowed to have an opinion.

And by the way, President Trump has singlehandedly ENDED the illegal immigration crisis, so why are all of you still harping about it? Why aren't you celebrating?

The point is, California has effectively advertised that if you come here illegally, we'll give you free medical care. It's an incentive. One more incentive added on top of all of the other ones.

They don't have one policy to discourage people from coming here. In fact, they go out of their way to encourage people to come here, AKA open borders. And, they are against a wall, meaning they are for open borders with no wall.

If nothing else, these people get counted on censuses, giving states like California more representatives than they would have had if there were no illegals.

Did you notice that he got something in return?
The Mariel Boatlift was Castro emptying his prisons and mental hospitals, and leaving us holding the bag.
Cuba had to take those people back, people who would normally be categorized as criminal aliens.
I thought you guys want to get rid of criminal aliens? I know I do.

Hardly voter suppression.

Seems like California would have done this. Why didn't they? Instead, they alert illegals to raids on employers, call for the elimination of ICE, provide sanctuary for illegals, and refuse to cooperate with ICE. And now they are giving illegals health care.

That's not totally correct. Democrats are always for open borders. Doesn't have anything to do with Trump.

They haven't always been for open borders.



I think the Democrats refusal to lift a finger to help with the crisis at the border now has everything to do with President Trump. And I think that refusal has a whole lot to do with that crisis escalating to the extremes.

And apparently you're ignoring the probability that the measure saves the state an enormous amount of money by eliminating the logjam of illegals flooding into Emergency Rooms. You're calling a money saving measure an incentive three days after Trump announced that he has solved the immigration problem, you're not even making sense anymore.

This needs to be done on a NATIONAL LEVEL since it is supposedly a NATIONAL problem that effects the NATION.
