Give them time to get seated and things will become much more clear as to how they will deal with matter. The turbulence over the next 36 days while trying to put together a team is a daunting task.

It's no different even on a local level, when Administrations Change. They have to focus on the Agenda and then they can deal with items that fall into categories of the Agenda.
They are committed to working "for the people".... that is the "core within their messaging".... People can't expect thing to happen like "flipping a light switch"... it just does not work like that, not even in our personal everyday life affairs and issue, and no one... absolutely "no one" on the planet gets everything they want, and they certainly don't get what they do want, in an 'instant". We all know that... so why crowed the matter, before the authority to do things has even been inaugurated. ..

Republican insults is not how one administrates... its already know they are going to be contentious and its known that they will be belligerent, so why get hung up on that... and become distracted to the massive volume of work that must be done to correct all the madness that has taken place over the past 4 yrs, and the madness they caused in stagnating things for 8 yrs prior to that.

Perspective can be helpful ... when we know what need to be done are core things.

There's already people like Betsy DeVos telling people in the Dept, of Education to be Resistive!!!...
One can only imagine the volume of boulders in the pathway and broken bridges that Trump and Trump Devotees will continue to create before he leaves...

how do you know progressives made democrats lose seats like what if they were just gonna lose them anyway
its not like we knew 100 percent that democrats were gonna do good in congress and progressives messed it up
i saw some democrats keep their seats too so i mean you cant blame progressives
 
people say far left but they dont look at the far right and these policys people want arent far left its what most of the world has
both sides have issues so lets make a third party.

Was just trying to start a conversation on reasons why Democrats didn't do as well as Biden in some down ballot races. Your post seemed to offer some pushback on what some believe was the reason and thought I would offer some food for thought is all.

1) What "Defund the police" represented was good.
2) "Defund the police" was the worst slogan in human history.
 
but my point is regardless of whats going on with defund the police we shouldnt be blaming progressives and maybe its not the best thing to defund it
but im sure theirs other ways to try and stop police from killing innocent people we have to think about everything we can do

I see. I was intending to be more specific on the charge of how "Defund the Police" slogan doomed down ballot races. I may not have been very clear in my post though.

I suggest calling it anything but "defund the police." How about, "Surprise finger up your butt." Sure, that slogan is awful, but it's still better than "defund the police."
 
look at all the people who ran talking about 15 dollar minimum wage and universal healthcare, they won, aoc won re election, progressivism
isnt the curse word they think it is its the recipe for winning, exciting people with new ideas.
if democrats do not get on board they are just harming themselfs and them nominating joe biden
im fine with it but honestly bernie could of won too and democrats trying to rig it against him
isnt right because bernie had more of a chance of winning they could of lost simply for
picking someone because they thought the other guy was too radical, but its up to the voters
to decide what they want not a political party.

Instead of "defund the police" it should have been called "free weed for everybody." I guarantee you it would have worked. I mean, if you're going to come up with a slogan that barely addresses the intent, at least create one that would make everyone excited to go along with it.

AOC won again because of the racial and political makeup of her district. Anyone who thinks she’d win in a national race is delusional.

And if you really think Sanders would’ve had a shot against Trump, you haven’t paying any attention to what’s going on outside of your bubble.

A Sanders ticket would’ve been Trump’s best chance for re-election.
