Democratic Debate Discussion Thread

It will mostly be safe topics, like continuing discredited lefty policies.

They sure aren't going to hit each other over things like character. Character is more of a conservative thing.

Listening to Hewitt this afternoon he thinks Webb will go after Hillary over the email thing.

Probably. He's definitely a rather conservative democrat with a conservative constituency he's trying to appeal to. He'll try to foster an image that he can garner moderate republicans. Which has been the flaw of the dem party for a long time now. Why would republican want a republican lite when they can just vote for a real republican. It's a failed path to pursue.

Hell, Chaffee was a republican that flipped parties and webb is far more conservative than him.

Webb is going to need to hit VERY hard tonight to make an impression.

I'd like to see it, but for some reason I dont see Sanders and Clinton getting too into it.

Good!

That's exactly what she needs.

She's the front-runner.

And despite all the noise, she may be the nominee.

So test her early, and test her well. The earlier and harder she gets this stuff out, the better she will be if she eventually prevails.

Im going to be interested in the difference of tone between the republican debates and this one, Im expecting more softballs from CNN for dems.

Oh I doubt that. CNN is aimless in their direction as a company so they pretend to make up for a lack of content with WWE style stupidity.

Does Biden parachute in carrying a flaming flag?

They have a bias, always have. Maybe less so than MSNBC, but its there.

Yes they are a business, but if it was merely a business decision they would sound like fox news and be covering trump all day every day.

They do cover trump all day every day. They've talked almost as much about trump tweeting this debate as they have the debate so far.

huh, they actually have to introduce them with the narrative spelled out like that?

stupid ****ing CNN. They are pumping this like a damn boxing match. It is so stupid.

I'm disappointed it's not Rosanne Barr.
