Democrat vs Republican Logic Is Confusing

Not at all. It can be flown just because someone wants too. It's called freedom of expression

Sure. But how does that make it NOT racist?

Your logic is faulty. Try again.

Racism lies in the eyes/ears of the beholder. Simple, just don't look at it

Republican logic: so let’s elect Donald Trump who is going to fix our opioid addiction...:lamo

Donald Trump doesn't do drugs or drink...so yeah. Thanks for more liberal logic.
Liberal logic above^
Repubs think they can fix the opioid problem by electing a guy who is against drugs. Fascinating logic.

Republican logic: so let’s let them die on the streets when they are born. That’ll teach them to be more responsible next time.

^liberal logic above if we dont dismember them first...they might die.

Republican logic: so let’s ignore the warnings of every one of Trump’s own intelligence chiefs on what Russia is doing to us.
Liberal logic^ Lets frame Trump meddling in elections...otherwise we cant win the next one.

Republican logic: Hillary Clinton.

So let’s not do anything, or even talk about racism, ever.

Liberal logic^ Falsely accusing people of racism = talking about racism.
Joe Biden sorts african americans as being clean or not. Liberals didn't talk about that. I bet you can't even criticize him for it.

You bring up a good point here - the tendency of people to vote for politicians who they think are going to make their lives better, and the media's assertion that a better life for one person comes at the expense of another.

While this may be true to a very slight degree, the vast majority of one's personal fortune depends on how trashy they are, and you can't fix trash.

Women are upset at Trump’s naughty words -- they also bought 80 million copies of 50 Shades of Gray.

Not one feminist has defended Sarah Sanders. It seems women’s rights only matter if those women are liberal.

No Border Walls. No voter ID laws. Did you figure it out yet? But wait... there's more.

Chelsea Clinton got out of college and got a job at NBC that paid $900,000 per year. Her mom flies around the country speaking out about white privilege.

And just like that, they went from being against foreign interference in our elections to allowing non-citizens to vote in our elections.

President Trump’s wall costs less than the Obamacare website. Let that sink in, America.

We are one election away from open borders, socialism, gun confiscation, and full-term abortion nationally. We are fighting evil.

They sent more troops and armament to arrest Roger Stone than they sent to defend Benghazi.

60 years ago, Venezuela was 4th on the world economic freedom index. Today, they are 179th and their citizens are dying of starvation. In only 10 years, Venezuela was destroyed by democratic socialism.

Russia donated $0.00 to the Trump campaign. Russia donated $145,600,000 to the Clinton Foundation. But Trump was the one investigated!

Nancy Pelosi invited illegal aliens to the State of the Union. President Trump Invited victims of illegal aliens to the State of the Union. Let that sink in.

A socialist is basically a communist who doesn’t have the power to take everything from their citizens at gunpoint ... Yet!

How do you walk 3000 miles across Mexico without food or support and show up at our border 100 pounds overweight and with a cellphone?

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez wants to ban cars, ban planes, give out universal income and thinks socialism works. She calls Donald Trump crazy.

Bill Clinton paid $850,000 to Paula Jones To get her to go away. I don’t remember the FBI raiding his lawyer’s office.

I wake up every day and I am grateful that Hillary Clinton is not the president of the United States of America.

The same media that told me Hillary Clinton had a 95% chance of winning now tells me Trump’s approval ratings are low.

“The problem with socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people’s money.”— Margaret Thatcher

Maxine Waters opposes voter ID laws; She thinks that they are racist. You need to have a photo ID to attend her town hall meetings.

President Trump said — "They’re not after me. They’re after you. I’m just in their way."
Read that again.

The only thing you stated above that was 100% true was your very first statement, from there in you posted half truths, outright lies and illogic claims. Not good, maybe you can do better, next time.

Sure. We are not disagreeing here at all. People are free to express their racism as much as they like.

Yes! We all need to use our conservative friends as role models and be more peace loving, friendly, and respectful of law and order: :lamo

Yes, people have different opinions and different interests. But I would just be happy with agreeing on basic facts: like that Russia significantly interfered in the 2016 election and is doing so again, or on the warnings of every scientific organization on the entire planet on climate change. Opinions on what to do about those facts can come later.

But one side is denying even the most basic and obvious facts. That makes it even more difficult than the average disagreement on opinions.

Republican logic: helping address the opioid drug problem in rural America is the right thing to do. But helping the drug problem in the inner cities is communist tyranny and we as a society should have no responsibility for it. They just need to get off their lazy behind and take responsibility and fix their own problems.

You can't "fix" recreational drug abuse without addressing the demand side. So long as folks view that demand as being someone else's fault then it will never be "fixed".

Who is doing that in the inner cities?

In both places, we have a problem. It needs to be fixed.

OK, what exactly is your suggested "fix"? IMHO, zip code has no bearing on the personal choice to use (or abuse) recreational drugs (an absolute prerequisite for recreational drug abuse) whether that drug is alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, cocaine, meth or opioids. Addiction (drug abuse progression?) is often described as: at first the person takes the drug, then the drug takes the drug and eventually the drug takes the person.

I don’t know. It’s a very difficult question indeed. This is something that would have to be addressed in consultation with all sorts of specialists in medicine and public health, sociology, etc.... I am sure there are answers. It’s just that they are not going to be simple and easy.

I am just not sure I understand the logic that trying to address it in one place is important to do and we all have a responsibility as a society to help our fellow Americans there, and trying to adress it in the other place is communist tyranny, is not our problem and we as a society should not have to take any responsibility for it, and we just need to leave them to themselves to learn their lessons, take responsibility for themselves, and just fix their own problems.

I agree 100% with that (bolded above) idea (duty?). As the saying goes: you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. IMHO, the best course of public action is education.

Probably the most effective form of that education is to show folks precisely what happened to those who ended up dead or permanently disabled from their drug abuse and also to show folks examples of those who were able to escape (thus survive relatively unscathed) their drug addiction/abuse. Having seen first hand what (hard) drug abuse did to others while I was in HS and thereafter, and having seen those who once indulged and survived having hit bottom and are now doing fine is what keeps me from "experimenting" with (hard) recreational drugs.

Gibberish. You either support legalizing drugs or ya dont. You lefties do because you say it. A heroin addict in rural America is no different than one in the inner city.

OK, I can go with that.

But I see this as a far more complex problem that just that. There is hopelessness, despair, a culture of poverty and learned helplessness, etc....

Unless we address all those as well, it's only cutting off one head of the beast.
