Democracy is on the ballot tomorrow. True or False?

Yes, half of Republicans running for office are election deniers. If given the chance, they would have handed Trump the Presidency.

Vote for the one party that still ostensibly supports democracy. The choice is not hard.

The fact that you and others can’t seem to wrap your heads around is that the party currently in power always takes the hit when the economy is rough. Ask George H. W. Bush. Instead of all of these non-issues the Democrats keep talking about, they don’t even attempt to talk about inflation or the economy, so voters think they don’t care. Not to mention the horrible messaging coming out of the White House.
They do. But “it’s a global problem, fallout from Covid” just doesn’t get people worked up like the lies and misapprehension do.

So the lies and misapprehensions carry the day.

Concerns like that are so fleeting and short sighted. If we had basic intelligence tests before letting people vote most of the people worried about that would undoubtedly not be allowed to vote anyway.

Heritage admits it is writing voter suppression laws for GOP state legislators

This is a lie.

Nobody in that video said anything about "voter suppression" except that talking potato head, Ari Berman.

The election isn’t over yet.

All the new narratives boil down to “why so hysterical? There’s nothing at all for you to be worried about. “

I’m sure you’ve seen it, right in this thread.
Yes exactly.

The same crowd in 2016 had the mantra of give Trump a try.

What have we got to lose.

It will be different from the current mess.

We know now who and what the PutinTrumpRowers are and it is unacceptable.

Good luck with your fears!
Yeah, what do I have to lose eh.

Your same question in 2016 about giving Trump a try.

Brought forward to 2022 as if we'd missed it and all that has happened in between. You PutinTrumpRowers fool no one.

My wife and I have decided to not watch TV tonight. We felt it would be far too stressful.
We will watch a movie.

Tomorrow the entire world will know if America has lost it's stance in the world. If countries like South Korea will start to build nukes.
Sadly, I think it is over.

And in 2016 You PutinTrumpRowrers said to give Trump a try.

What did we have to lose.

It would be something different from the usual standoff.

Now in 2022 You Rowers want to play the same game again, ie, what, me worry?

No sale.

It was one thing to vote for TRump in 2016. Today it is an evil activity.

It's definitely not on the ballot. I voted, and it was nowhere to be found. It's however typical of the democrat scare tactics, such as the new voting laws in Ga. that was supposed to suppress the vote. The early voting there was record breaking.

Our republic is stronger than you think!

And here I am, too old to enjoy explaining to them they don’t get to force us all to live in conservative hell…

Reported six weeks before the video emerged.... again, please post the pro-democracy predicate for these "legislative proposals".

March 21, 2021

"Republican state lawmakers who have rolled out more than 250 bills to restrict ballot access in more than 40 states, largely in response to President Donald Trump's false claims about election fraud, are receiving financial backing from an unusual coalition of Christian and "small government" groups.

The Family Research Council, the Susan B. Anthony List and the American Principles Project — all faith-based nonprofits — are spending millions to boost a Republican-led effort to restrict voting in dozens of states after the party lost the White House and the Senate amid record turnout and mail-in voting. Meanwhile, libertarian-leaning groups like FreedomWorks, Heritage Action — the political arm of the Heritage Foundation — and Tea Party Patriots are also planning an eight-figure investment to back the effort, which has already seen 253 restrictive bills introduced in 43 states, according to a Brennan Center for Justice analysis. Heritage Action also plans to team with allies like the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) to craft model legislation for state lawmakers to adopt..."

The Constitution provides for the USA as having a democratic form of government.

The Armband Right sees only a republic however.

Exclusive of democracy. So I assure you of what makes the Armband Right choke, ie, the American Experiment in Democracy will continue.

It’s amazing that people are so easily convinced that one-party rule is democracy.

Nothing prohibits the establishment of multiple parties.

Which is how Trump's MAGA Party came into existence.

Which is no different than Putin's United Russia Party.

Mmmmkay. You sure are assuming a hell of a lot of things here about me, aren't ya?

I'll start with --- I've never voted for Trump and never will vote for Trump. Now what?
I don't know you at all so I'll take a second look. You sound like I might want to do that, so I will.

I can't vote today because my wife would vote straight G.O.P. cancelling my vote. In presidential years we go through the exercise because
she doesn't trust my pledge to abstain if she will vs. the risk of one more vote slipped in there for democratic party candidates.
My keeping to the "in sickness and in health," pledge in the marriage vows isn't persuasive enough, I guess.

De Nile isn't only a river in Egypt.

It also runs through Moscow right alongside the Kremlin where it's called the Moscow River.

And it runs squarely through Maralago where it becomes a sewer.

You don't know me at all, but just listed a bunch of things you "know" about me? Weird.

Yeah, in 2016 Trump was an ignoramus moron foulmouth sexual predator and abuser.

In 2022 Trump is Kim Jong Un plus 100 pounds.

So and in that sense only Trump had grown in the job.

You already did...in that Ari Berman video.

You called yourself to my attention and I said I didn't know you, ie, beyond what I read of your brief one line post, and that I'd look into your posts to get back to you. It's getting harder to give you the benefit of the doubt by now however.

You knew you didn't know me before you pretended to know what I thought about all of the things you listed. That was impressively dumb.

I certainly know you now Josie so thx.

A nag among other unvirtuous aspects. Your constant pursuit has taken my time away to look up your dubious posts.

Have a good day and night. I'll certainly enjoy posting to you from now on. Especially if you continue not to enjoy it.
