'Defund the FBI!' Trump allies are not happy with Mar-a-Lago raid.

The DOJ is currently investigating DJT and possibly others and until it's time to further report on the proper and legal search of DJT's property, I'm confident that we the people will be addressed about it. The same applies to the FBI.

Do you or him have creditable proof that this took place? The part that this was the FBI's plan to use those that he described to kidnap Gov Whitmer.

And police departments have shown deliberate institutional corruption in the form of racial bias and the violation of civil rights of minorities. So you support defunding them too, yes?

If any of them were demonstrably operating outside of the law, then no one should complain when the law comes a knockin.....

I do think at some point, the DoJ does need to explain this, but it is pretty clear this was by the book. No one's 4th amendment rights were violated here.

Yes you are correct, insurrection or rebellion will prevent someone from running. Now a fight about records for the national archive, which is the context of the discussion, not so much.

Let's talk about the fight for records at the National Archives.

The law: a president doesn't get to choose what they would like to keep. If any artifact from the white house is only legal if it in the custody of the NA. Mar Lago is not a legal location for any docs or artifacts.

The executive branch and the judicial branch agreed on a warrant. Trump has a list of items removed and he is at liberty to release the copies to the public.

The warrant was legal and justified.

If they are a government agency that can search your property/person with probable cause, slap handcuffs on you, and take you to jail, then they are the police.

Congressional Dems should run a law-and-order campaign this fall, and push back against Republican efforts to defund the police.
