While visiting several US cities this summer, I have been pleasantly surprised by the inclusion of RT News in most the hotel cable packages...This is an excellent channel which is the ONLY 24 hour news organization that dares to challenge the pro-Israel stranglehold that has had a virtual death grip on the US media for decades..In comparison, CNN, MSNBC and Faux are a bad joke. Maybe we are finally turning the corner regarding truth in media...Kudos to the Rooskis!!

This is a non-story so to speak. "Massive Israeli manipulation" is an exaggerated description. The American Zionist Council did what advocacy groups do with respect to public relations. It attempted to nurture coverage of items that were favorable to Israel. In the U.S. there are many advocacy groups, a fairly significant number of which are registered as foreign agents. Those entities also seek to shape public opinion via the media, advertising, lobbying, etc.

Finally, the material cited in the RT video originated in the early 1960s.
