I'm not even a fan of Trump, a helped campaign against him, and I only voted for him because the alternative was worse... but to many of the Democrats supporters on DP and elsewhere, I'm lumped in with "MAGA" not because I love Trump (though I assume most baselessly assume it), but becauser I had the temerity to push back against the deluge of false narratives dumped on the public by the Democrats. It would have been really cool to have a Dmeocrat party and a pro-Democrat media who held Trump accountable for things he actually did that weren't great, but no, they needed a Russian-Stooge/Neo-Nazis-are-Very-Fine-People scale big lie, a new lie every week for years.

And now people sit in solitary while the state denies them constitutional rights, on yet another big lie.

You saw the footage of that day as we all did. It was vicious, ugly and clearly aimed at overthrowing our government and our very way of life. Every one of those pigs belongs in jail for the rest of their lives. So, to repeat; exactly what injustice do you think they're the victim of?

You stated the lie in your question. It was not an insurrection no matter how many times people brainlessly repeat it.

The Capitol Police had a breakdown is leadership both before and during the Capitol riot, culminating in frustrated Capitol Police firing teargas into crowds that were not rioting, and then opening the gates and waving them through.

The press and the prosecution used the "QAnon Shaman" as the snapshot symbol of the unbridled rage of all protestors while the man was actually rather peaceful, and said a prayer for the Capitol police after they helped him find a door into the Senate.

You can piss and moan all you want, history will call it an insurrection and your childrens children will see what the pieces of shit did and those who supported them... Why is it that every time a conservative cites a "scientist" or "expert" that's on their side, they are a known grifter and liar to everyone else? And this is a person whose opinon in 1/6 should be accepted?

No, it was not an insurrection. A movement to call for an investigation into a perceived corrupt election isn't an insurrection.

In the case of these rioters they needed to coerce them into signing confessions.. or committing suicide.

Two years in solitary and beatings so bad that one prisoner now has permanent disability seem to help with that.

No I don't. I've stated repeatedly that those who attacked officers should be punished to the extent the law allows, as well as those who vandalized the Capitol.

What I object to is the actual rebranding of J6 as an insurrection and the likening of it to 9/11.
