OK ,I'll take your word for it but unless I can hear it in context it's just a sound bite
It's propaganda.

Fox has interviewed these people and the horror they are living with not to mention the devastating damages to their property. A lot of sleepless nights.
Agreed. Time and time again the Republicans have had opportunities to address this but even within their party, there is great disagreement on how to approach comprehensive immigration reform. Both parties do nothing and then blame the other guy!I've seen those interviews, and it's hard to believe this is allowed to occur in America.
I'm not going to throw this all this solely in the laps of the Dems, though. The only way this resolves is through Congressional action getting serious about it. One of the good things with the form of our Republic is the Founder's vision & intent only changes very slowly, if at all. They system is very resistant to change by it's very nature of checks & balances. The bad news in that resistance to change, is that it's easy for important stuff to not get done.
I bet for all those that are lenient or agnostic on border enforcement, if they were to watch some of these stories, or meet the victims, they would change their tune!
How exactly would DC “process” these illegal immigrants?
Yes precisely what it is.They're no illegal. There's nothing for The City to 'process', at least in terms of 'immigration' enforcement. It appears to be a matter of logistics & humanitarian aid.

These aren't illegal immigrants.
She's not thrilled that TX and AZ's governors are busing them as a political move. She's not upset about the immigrants. Can you point to something in that article that suggests thinks DC should not have to take them? I only see her asking for help with processing them expeditiously and avoid a humanitarian crisis.
the irony is thick - migrants can overwhelm border states and 2 million encounters strains services. But not in my backyard
Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser is asking the National Guard to mobilize in an effort to deal with the migrants that are being bused to the city from southern states.![]()
DC Mayor Bowser asks for National Guard help with migrant buses from southern border: 'Humanitarian crisis'
Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser is asking for assistance from the DC National Guard in managing the thousands of illegal migrants entering the city from Southern states.www.foxnews.com
The mayor, who has championed accepting migrants entering the country illegally as a human rights issue, requested the DC National Guard be activated indefinitely to assist with what she called a "humanitarian crisis."
She's caught between a rock and a hard place.Similar to January 6th she is asking for unarmed NG troops help with managing the situation.
That's a rather dramatic conclusion to your argument. It should be pretty obvious now that there coming no matter what, and our businesses are hiring them no matter what. Because if we don't, they starve, and we starve.
they already got a free bus ticket - did they get a box lunch? a cellphone? (feds were giving them all one)They're not illegal. There's nothing for The City to 'process', at least in terms of 'immigration' enforcement. It appears to be a matter of logistics & humanitarian aid.
Where does Trump come into this?I simply can't believe how Trump simply made up this issue and 40% of the country now thinks it's the end of the world.
The same goes for Trump....he did nothing and he had the power to actually do something! We are talking about 4,000 illegal aliens here. That's it!
The democrat DC mayor is a lightweight and did nothing during the riots.
Where does Trump come into this?
The DC mayor herself is asking (demanding) National Guard troops for the 4,000 illegal immigrants that came to DC since Biden has been in office.
DC is a sanctuary city. DC got what they wanted; many, many more on their way!
Immigration is not a major issue. Trump turned ot into one for political play.
Completion of the wall was at the top of former President Donald Trump’s agenda, and border security remains a potent issue for candidates of both parties going into this year’s primary elections. President Joe Biden halted new wall construction after he took office, but he has since made closing the gaps just south of Yuma a priority.
Democratic U.S. Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona, who is seeking his party nomination’s next week to defend the seat in November, has pressed the Biden administration to close the gaps, calling them a challenge for officials trying to secure the border.
Nonsense - the Mayors of DC and NYC seem to think it as as well as many other Mayors (or much smaller cities) closer to the southern border. Of course, immigration (and US border security) is a political ‘issue’.

US to fill border wall gaps at open area near Yuma, Arizona
The Biden administration on Thursday authorized completion of the Trump-funded U.S.-Mexico border wall in an open area of southern Arizona near Yuma, where four wide gaps make it among the busiest corridors for illegal crossings.apnews.com
I agree illegal immigration/migration is a huge issue but trying to pin it on the Dems is disingenuous. The Republicans have done nothing to address the problem even when they had complete control of both the House and the Senate. They do nothing but complain about it and I mean nothing.Nonsense - the Mayors of DC and NYC seem to think it as as well as many other Mayors (or much smaller cities) closer to the southern border. Of course, immigration (and US border security) is a political ‘issue’.

Sorry, its simply nowhere near top 10. That is Trump, now GOP rhetoric.
Even the WaPo seems to rank immigration as being in the top 4 ‘issues’.
ha ha. there is a term "election year conversion" - Kelly is "concerned" until after the midterms when he's notDemocratic U.S. Sen. Come on, this is opinion. Opinion is shipped by rhetoric. Look, abortion is on top. How insane is that?
We are at war with Russia. Walking a tight rope with China. Inflation is at a 40 year high. And the dolt in the street thinks immigration is the top issue?
Yes, I recognize that folks belive this. I also recognize what utter horseshit that belief is. I am sure the stolen election is the #1 concern to 25% of Americans.
Hmm… it seems that only your opinion matters.![]()
Bowser is thinking: "If the Feds don't help me with this, I'm going to make Biden/Mayorkas look really incompetent at the border".Where does Trump come into this?

True as this is, I believe threats can be measured when applying reasoned criteria. That is not what your link does.
Department of Homeland Secuity has red hats listed as a bigger danger than immigrants yet the red hats do most the melting down over poor people coming here to better themselves.
