Current Minnesota Shooting Simple Fact

If the victim of a drunk driver hadn't had to run to the store for some milk, they wouldn't have been killed.

An unarmed individual making a poor decision when interacting with police shouldn't be a death sentence. And if an officer is too incompetent to tell the difference between a taser and their handgun, they should fine another line of work after serving their time for manslaughter.

If traffic officers did not carry guns, he would have been tased and not shot assuming it was a mistake by the officer.

Every big city police dept as a TRAFFIC DIV. I fail to understand why we have traffic officers carry guns. A taser, pepper spray and a billy club should be all they carry as weaponry.

Given the number of these incidents that seem to occur because officers jump to threats or use of deadly force as a first resort rather than the last, I think we really need to consider removing guns from traffic cops.

That's really part of the problem. They're too scared to often to be trusted with a deadly weapon.

Nah, I think thats a dumb idea.
Thugs can just obey the laws and listen to Police.
I like my idea and not yours.

And in the meantime? Gangbanger banging away, sooner or later he'll hit a cop (or an innocent). But hey...at least we won't have another dead Black person (but we might have a dead cop or two or a civie, but thems the breaks i suppose!)

It’s always a “mistake” to confuse a gun for a taser. Reich-wing killer cops know the end result of these black killings.

What have you got against simply obeying the law and cooperating with Police mister?
Thats what I do, and I havent been shot by a cop 1 single time.

Well, its not really "ridiculous" though, its merely a simple fact.
I dont worry about Police getting their weapons mixed up while I resist arrest.

You know why I dont have to worry about that?

Of course you do. You've also made it very clear in multiple threads that black people being tortured or killed for no reason isn't really a problem for you, so that is to be expected.

We literally have more guns than people in this country. With more guns than people in this country it should be obvious how "gangbangers" get their guns. We have a massive oversupply problem in this country. We are basically throwing guns at the bad guys among other things. Do you really think the gun industry cares where their product ends up or do you think they care about selling more product?

Pistols and tasers have grips that are deliberately designed to avoid this confusion, and she was holding it long enough to figure out the difference.

The alternative is that she is wildly incompetent. She had a round chambered, no safety, drew from the wrong side, and didn't notice the difference in grip the entire time she was holding the weapon.

Yeah, I know. It's ok for blacks to be thugs, commit crimes, antagonize the police, resist arrest, run from the police, etc but if they are shot by the police, even accidently, no blame lies with the criminal thugs, the left lays all the blame with police. And we wonder why these things keep on happening. The black community and the left could help this situation by calling out criminals as criminals and encourage the ones who remain criminals not to do anything that would lead to them being shot accidentally or even unaccidentally. But, it's ok to assault the police. Like I said, if this person hadn't had to have been tased by police then this person would not have been shot. While this officer is guilty of an accidental shooting it would never have been happened if this teen hadn't been doing things that caused the officer to need to tase him. Until the black community and the left accept partial blame for these incidents they will keep on happening.
