Cruz at CPAC: "Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeedom!!"

Cruz would make somebody a good VP running mate. Rand Paul for instance. I wouldn't mind seeing him as number one on the ticket with Ted.

Does Cruz not realize how cartoonish he looks? I mean there are plenty of cartoon characters in the GOP. But Cruz appears to be vying for the top spot.
 
The capitol and its grounds were once a tourist attraction. Americans could actually walk the halls of Congress.

CNN reports, "A review of US Capitol security in the wake of the January 6 insurrection is set to recommend a series of sweeping changes next week intended to better protect lawmakers while they are in Washington, DC, and at home.

"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi directed retired Lt. General Russel Honoré to conduct an independent review of the security presence around the Capitol last month after a pro-Trump mob breached the building.

"The addition of more than 1,000 Capitol Police officers -- at a cost approaching $100 million -- would include some 350 officers and expanded staffing in regional offices. The review found that the force must be expanded in part to meet members' security needs when they are back home.

"Additionally, the recommendations call for establishing a robust and dedicated quick reaction force composed of a National Guard military police battalion to be on standby in Washington full time.

The draft recommendations suggest building an integrated system of walls and fences around the Capitol.

Currently, the capitol and its grounds are fenced off. Tourists are not allowed.

back in the olden times, i had a dream that i was taking a final exam on the tennis court at my old high school. i hadn't studied, and it was being administered by Hitler, who was wearing a clown wig. when i woke up, i thought that this was the most ****ed up shit ever. four years of Tweetycult followed by them building a golden statue of him in flip flops tops it, though.

Who are the Dems putting up in 2024? Kamala Harris the candidate who dropped out of the 2020 Democrat primary before the first votes were counted?
