Don't get me wrong - individualism and merit will eventually perish from the United States. CRT has come along to delay that process a bit. Somehow, despite the MSM, that part of the voting public still aligned with the American Way got wind of what CRT means and is voting against it. Some people actually know that CRT "is not" about Rosa Parks and a bus or separate drinking fountains in the 1960's.

Use this time wisely - the good old days of 2021 when you can succeed based on merit aren't going to last. I suggest saving/investing as much of your income as possible and telling your kids to do the same. You'll be far better off financially to move out of the US when it comes time.

I've said it before, I'll say it again... if we did not see such a political interest in hiding this nation's not so good chapters of our history we would not need CRT.

right wing propaganda and fascism creeping inot schools. Can't possibly teach our horrible history of civil rights violations. NO, pretend it doesn't exist and continue shitting on everybody not a white christian, the American Taliban way

This kind of misinformation threatens America

Got wind of what CRT means? I find it hard to believe most of the people who supposedly voted against it have an academic understanding of it and are only relying on what they heard or read on social media about it.

That statement doesn't make any sense. There isn't any political interest at all I'm hiding any of it. CRT has nothing to do with that

Amen, to that!

That faction of the political spectrum has created the CRT Bogeyman as a tool to suppress & whitewash American History <-- see what I did there?

People who ask this often either don't know what it means or they wish to obfuscate it's meaning.

It isn't complex.

No one's hiding anything or even intersted in hiding anything.

Slavery is already taught
The brutality against the Civil Rights marchers in the 60s are taught

CRT is a divisive tool used and abused by Radical Leftists to push race shaming on Whites.

Do you think there was every any systematic racism in America and in policies like 'redlining' districts?

How is individualism or the American dream threatened by teaching the facts about racism in the US

I have yet to see anybody against CRT that actually knows what it is and where its being taught
im sure those people exist but everytime i see somebody having a meltdown of CRT it has nothing to do with CRT

100% correct

CRT has been around for quite some time lol

That has nothing to do with CRT.
Then what is critical race theory about if it isn't about teaching the systemic racism in the US?

Just what is critical race theory anyway?

Critical race theory is an academic concept that is more than 40 years old. The core idea is that race is a social construct, and that racism is not merely the product of individual bias or prejudice, but also something embedded in legal systems and policies.

The basic tenets of critical race theory, or CRT, emerged out of a framework for legal analysis in the late 1970s and early 1980s created by legal scholars Derrick Bell, Kimberlé Crenshaw, and Richard Delgado, among others.

A good example is when, in the 1930s, government officials literally drew lines around areas deemed poor financial risks, often explicitly due to the racial composition of inhabitants. Banks subsequently refused to offer mortgages to Black people in those areas.

Nothing it's nonsense. Like Flat Earth theory.
Please explain how CRT and flat earth theory are linked? Flat Earthers are either religious idiots or trolls.

My source says that they are linked, so now you must debunk that source from teachers. The fact that you don't like CRT doesn't mean that your claim is intrinsically true.

Nope, it's a minor curriculum in LAW SCHOOLS.
It isn't taught in public schools.
But the Trump Right has decided to go the Humpty Dumpty route and label anything that embarrasses them about our history as CRT.

Not so.

"McAuliffe has repeatedly described the fight against CRT as a racist dog whistle. He has also claimed the theory has never been taught in Virginia, despite it being promoted on the state’s department of education website."

Why is it a problem with conservatives searching about the racial ideas that they still support? If you don't like being liked to racism then obviously you should stop doing it.

Who supports racial ideas?
Take a look at how many minorities the GOP electorate voted in. It's not the melanin content of the skin, it's the message and the positions, at least to GOP and independent voters. Sure, there are outliers which don't reflect the majority, just as with any party and political spectrum.
If you don't like being liked to racism then obviously you should stop doing it.
Rather, baseless accusations of racism (usually for political by the left and their media accomplices) and overly broad brushes should stop being applied.

Just too bad the Dems just keep showing off their racism.

The problem is that there are double standards at play, where '-D' get away with it, not called for it, and '-R's get it invented on them.

Of course unless you break out of the leftist media bubble you'd never realize it. It's kinda of a 'Red Pill' thing.
