Crack Pipes in 'Safe Smoking Kits' Prove Psaki and Fact-Checkers Lied in Denials

Better get DHS’s Disinformation Governance Board right on that Federal Government disinformation.

From the 'fact check'.... quotes from the administration.

Yet, the facts are pretty clear:

The kits became the subject of national attention in the wake of a Free Beacon report in February indicating that a $30 million harm-reduction program was set to fund the distribution of free crack...

Patrick Hauf Washington Free Beacon May 13, 2022 AP Photo/Felipe Dana Crack pipes are distributed in safe-smoking kits up and down the East Coast, raising questions about the Biden administration's assertion that its multimillion-dollar harm reduction grant program wouldn't funnel taxpayer dollars to drug paraphernalia.

Better get the 'Disinformation Governance Board' right on that right away. Psaki clearly was spreading disinformation, as does most of this administration.

1. Because a thing can be used for something does not make that use it's main purpose.

2. During the aftermath of the Christchurch earthquakes some of us used paint buckets as toilets until porta=loos could be provided, this does not make the main use of a paint bucket a toilet.

3 The assumption is being made that the kits photographed are the same kits that were sent out. I have yet to see any substantive proof of this.

4 and even given all the above you still have not proved that those government officials who commented on the kits were lying.

"crack pipe" was just the term. The point was that it was drug paraphernalia. Sure, you can use a glass pipe for smoking all kinds of things - pretty much all illegal.

And please note the quotes - the officials said there would be 'no glass pipes' or 'no smoking pipes'. They clearly lied.

Unrelated to topic.
