YES: China benefits diplomatically
YES: Brutal methods of quarantine work
YES: Internal strife in the Anglosphere

but
NO: The "bat" explanation would be beyond doubt
NO: China would have no problem with searches of the biolab
NO: China would have released it anywhere but China
NO: Scientists say it wasn't engineered

NO seem like better reasons.

NO because they only have to float the "wet market" idea, that it came from a bat doesn't have to be the specific excuse.
NO The lab is just off limits to searches, because china.

Its the 9/11 "researchers" all over again.... "Is there any proof that Jewish space lasers didn't take down the towers? Did anyone investigate the Jewish space lasers? The answer to both questions is "no"...why is that? What are they trying to hide?"

I would say it is sad. But sadness is often the result of happiness removed. Like anticipating a good day for a swim only to see that the pool is closed or what have you. @TurboSlayer postings are not sad as much as depressing that someone can be this jaundiced and still expects to be taken seriously.

That's the point. Trump supporters are 95% run on trolling these days. It's why there aren't really any successful conservative comics left. They don't tell jokes anymore. They just do this stuff for the reaction. You shaking your head is the entire point.

It's a strange motivation. "I'm gonna act so stupid that they'll point out how stupid I am, and it will annoy them that I keep acting this stupid, that'll own the libs!" But even talking about that is, itself, a reaction and exactly what they want.

But hey, personally? I'm entertained by seeing just how stupid I can get them to pretend to be.

It is the reason why a thread like this gets 7 pages (so far) and a sober discussion of fiscal policy often gets 7 posts. Its entertaining to see just out crazy the other side will get in their arguments.
