Well Chistie is not just another Republican Governor, he is one who has eyes on the White House. If any of those Democrats had visions of running for the President of the United States, the press would be all over them like horse flies on a meadow melon. You also need to realize the barriers inconvenienced a lof of people. No double standard!

Democrats claimed the standards that kept the mortgage industry solvent for decades were innately "racist" so the passed laws to lower those standards and then extorted Banks and lenders for BILLIONS of dollars. ( Still happening )

They corrupted the GSEs and continued to defend them as Fannie and Freddie committed unprecedented Securities fraud until they finnaly went bankrupt

How about what they did to Detroit ? Electing one corrupt Liberal after another as they ran that City into the ground. Kwame Kirkpatrick's " Hoe Party's " and his "loans" to make up the City Budget shortfalls.

Now they have to dedicate 1/3 of their City's budget to pay off those loans. Seems like they could use some police officers out thers.

Maxine Waters, funneling 12 Million of TARP to a bank her husband held stock in. Oh her husband was on the board.

Hillary Clinton telling the parents who lost their sons in Benghazzi that " We are going to arrest and prosecute the man that made that video " when she knew it was a terrorist attack all along.

Now thats just sub-human.

All the promises that were lies that were used to sell the ACA so people could lose their coverage and then have to pay significantly more for a replacement policy.

The IRSs Lois Lerner first admitting toTargeting of Conservative groups, then lying about "rogue agents in Cinci" and then taking the Fifth 24 Consecutive times in front of a House Committee.

The Democrats are fundamentally corrupt almost beyond measure.

I don't think the South thought of the war as treason. I think they thought they were within their rights so it's not the same thing as what Christie did.
