Navy Pride said:Well that sure minimizes your creditability........Tell me in real life are you Cindy Sheehan, John Daly, Michael Moore, or Ward Daley?
Duke said:It seems that Navy Pride has no clue that there are people that agree with Cindy Sheehan, John Daly, Michael Moore, and Ward Daley.
War is terror.

Navy Pride said:Hey I know there are...you are a perfect example my friend.......
Lets see a couple of quotes from your heros.......
Sheehan: The united States are the worlds biggest terrorists
Daly: The troops shoot shoot their officers
Moore: The terrorist in Iraq are equal to our minute men
Churchill: The people that were murdered in the WTC are all little Eichmans......
Great leaders for the left wing........
Duke said:For one, none of those people are my heroes, they actually tend to get on my nerves. They are just people that the right likes to say are the leaders of the left wing, for no reason other than that they sound stupid, and they are easy to use as an example. By the way, do you have any reliable sources for any those quotes?
Duke
Navy Pride said:Well Duke you are the one who said they had a lot of followers........I was just agreeing with you......
As far as the quotes you need to get out more, keep up with the news........There have been threads on all of them in this forum and there is still one on Daly............Watch a little news my friend...........
Duke said:As a matter of a fact, you said, that they were my heros. Not by a long shot. Please stop trying to read my mind, for it is not working. So, no sources? I didn't think you would put any.
I watch the news plenty, thanks for your concern!

Yes, I did. What about it?Iriemon said:LOL you were the one who said we are not occupying Iraq.
Well, aside from the fact that not being at war with Iraq does not preclude us from being at war IN Iraq...If we are no longer at war with Iraq, upon what basis can we hold prisoners of war. Who are we at war with?
DeeJayH said:and yet if you really did take in news sources
all those quotes would ring true
all were said by these loons
Navy Pride said:Your the one who defended these left wing nut jobs not me...Anyhow I got a link for you on Daley...........You can do your own work on your other friends since you are the only one in the whole world that did not hear their outrageous statements..........
Oh and a little advice........You really need to find some updated news sources.........moveon.org and Air Ameirca just don't get it........

Duke said:I don't go to moveon.org, or listen to Air America, I have no radio. I have updated news sources, too.
I never defended any of these "left wing nut jobs" you are blatently lying.

Well, aside from the fact that not being at war with Iraq does not preclude us from being at war IN Iraq...
The 'enemy combatants" we've captured are largely terrorists - and the war on terror is not over. Also, were captured in places other than Iraq.
So... whats your point?
AND... when are you going to lay out the argument that 'assault weapons' are not "arms"?
As necessary, investigations as to the particulars of their capture showed they were (probably) not terrorists and so they were released.Iriemon said:Then why have hundreds been freed? The Govt has been freeing terrorists? Or the Govt has been locking away innocent people?
Why should a terrorist -ever- be released? The point is, a war on "terror" as opposed to a nation is a war on a concept. There have always been terrorists, and always will be. This war will never end. Therefore, saying you are holding POWs without giving them due process is an excuse to lock people away in the dungeons forever.
Streeeeeeeeeeeetch a little more, will ya?The same priniciple applies to the "war on drugs." Is that war over? using the same logice, drug dealers are "enemy combatants" and could be locked away forever without a charges or a trial.
You missed your point here by a wide margin. No, I am making a (fairly lame) point that if using labels like "enemy cobatant" as a means to avoid constitutional rules can be applied in different ways
M14 Shooter said:Why should a terrorist -ever- be released?
Duke said:Did I defend them, do I agree with them? Did I not already ask you this question?
Duke
Iriemon said:A terrorist should not. How do we determine someone is a terrorist? Because the Govt says so? Is the mere accusation by the Govt sufficient to your to lock people away forever? No charges, no trial, no innocent until proven guilty?

Navy Pride said:Your words not mine...........And you did question whether those scum made the comments.....I think that would be considered defending them........
Navy Pride said:If you catch a guy shooting at Americans or planting bombs they are terrorists...plain and simple...........
