The communist party will never be a player, ever .. as long as we suffer such a great over-population problem as we do.
Our population mismanagement problem fosters over-population which by its very nature compels hierarchical socioeconomic systems promoting dog-eat-dog neurotic competition in a win-lose zero-sum environment.
Communism's equal-everything idealism cannot gain a foothold in such an environment, as too many people, both in the worker class and especially the management-owner class will never voluntarily relinquish their competitive effort as long as the over-population condition and the scarcity it facilitates would cost them their ability to feed themselves (etc.) during the transition, which would be a very, very long one.
If communists-socialists want to see their ideology become a player they will most certainly have to implement in stages ..
.. The first stage being that of getting the population change rate considerably negative for about 100 years or so.
What with Catholics living in squalor still breeding like Pope-encouraged rabbits and Muslims doing the same in the name of democracy majority for Allah, not to mention in America the communists' self-defeating support for open-borders in America ..
.. I doubt we have anything to worry about from the communists-socialists, nothing whatsoever.
We need a new communist movement to straighten out some of these corporate loving republicans and democrats.
Have you heard of Crony-Capitalism or Corporatism? We are not living in a Capitalistic society at this present moment. Corporations are hand in hand with the government and use the power of the government to achieve their goals.
In a true Capitalistic society a corporation can only offer you a product, service, or a job.
Yes, there isn't, so much, a single human nature in this regard.People are competitive because of capitalism not of an inherited character.
Yes, there isn't, so much, a single human nature in this regard.
The socioeconomic system in which we live greatly dictates our response.
The human nature at play here is adaptability.
Regardless, we can only adapt so long to harmful conditions before the long-term effects ingrain negative consequences that threaten us as a species.
We need eras of variety to keep balanced and continue growing.
I remember how many times we were told Commuism was dead in America, never was a great problem...
Now it's openly discussed and encouraged.
These are the enemy from within.
So you believe humans are not competitive by nature?
Remember the era of Leave it to Beaver, Father Knows Best, Dennis the Menace, a vibrant middle class and the The House Un-American Activities Committee when commies and other socialist had to hide in the sewers of America.
An era when nuts were confined within their shells.
Many communist don't openly identify themselves as communist or socialist, they hide behind the labels of either liberal or progressive.
Wow.
I guess someone has to be nostalgic for Joe McCarthy's witch-hunting.
Hating communists is a lot like hating witches- there's about the same amount of them and they have about the same amount of influence on your society. Same degree of threat.
And the same amount of supporters. Nothing like enjoying an easy target on a lazy afternoon.
No...I don't believe in genetic determinism nor I believe competition is the cause of our economic system.
Do you know what is interesting, JFK was an ally of Joe McCarthy's hunt for communist.
And they did uncover more than a few commies in government.
*Laughs* Obama is a Commie right..... he's as capitalistic as bush:lamo
In the past, why did humans compete so much for resources instead of cooperate to achieve their means?
We only saw this cooperation within small tribal societies and environments.
I will admit that cooperation is one of the fundamental cornerstones of success within a society, but we can't turn a blind eye to the successes of competition, nor dismiss competition as being brought about by some sort of modern system, when history proves otherwise.
Obama may be a Red Diaper Baby but I never said Obama was a commie. I except Obama's own definition of himself. "I never looked upon myself as an American but as an internationalist."
Why does it appear that those who either support or defend Obama never seem to have read Obama's own book, "Dreams From My Father" ?
So you believe humans are not competitive by nature?
