(CNN) Trump lays into Musk, suggesting he has ‘Trump derangement syndrome’

I have it. The key “tell” is some kind of hyper competence at something but zero social skills. Missing cues, which leads to inappropriate responses. Not rude or anything. Just wrong.

I used my “Aspie bonus” to learn how to recognize and respond to cues I don’t get because my social instinct set is incomplete.

I was an extremely precocious child. And I thought my inability to understand why people did some of the irrational things they do was that I was just really smart.
Then we all hit puberty and everybody was involved in an obvious elaborate dance I couldn’t even hear the music to. That’s when I knew something was off.
I was 48 when I found out that Asperger’s was a thing. Right before they declared it “on the spectrum”, apparently because they didn’t want a good autism and a bad autism.

Dayem. The bolded described it so well, I swear I could *feel* it! (y)

I'm hoping that the Swamp, the Deep State, the Elites and the Establishment are involved. Antifa would be icing on the cake, and if they really want to surprise and delight us, let's hope that they are working in the Uniparty, the Puppet Masters and the Media as well.

. . . while the Jews stand quietly on the sidelines, collectively thinking,

"Finally, everyone else gets their comeuppance!"

WOW, this beef has exploded. I was gone fishing, then my dad texted me, Elon Musk said Donald Trump is on the Epstein list. HOLY MOLY. I agree with Elon Musk on the budget bill and fiscal issues, but at the same time, I like Trump, and I voted for him, so I am torn on this conflict, but Trump's budget plan and rally cry against Thomas Massie pissed me off too. I'm glad somebody else with more influence took notice.
Do you think either man is mature enough to set their egos aside and do what's good for the country?

I sure don't.

Makes one go hmmmmm...there were some predicting they'd find a way to push the rapey felon out for their tech puppet.
I mean it makes sense. Im not saying this was the main goal but a just in case.

Steve Bannon said that Trump should cancel Elon Musk’s federal contracts.

Which would leave NASA, the space station, and dozens of science missions out on a limb.

These people are children having baby fits with no consideration for the good of the nation.

I think she was thrown into an impossible situation,
and considering that ran a decent race with many supporters. It's sad to realize I will probably never witness a woman president, and the tenor of the country currently is "we've already had a person of color"

Thinking back on Democratic successes, two of the last three were extremely intelligent, charismatic, communicators, and that's who will need to come to the head of the pack this time around. (No offense to Joe Biden, who I consider intelligent but "folksy straight forward rather than charismatic)

Yes, I think there's the bolded.

But despite decades of social & cultural changes, it seems many in the country value strength in their Presidents.

It's often thought to be best exhibited by testosterone, but I believe estrogen can also display those qualities. Hillary could & did. Kamala, from my perceptions, fell a bit short.

No, you just don't understand the symbolism of the Snake Eating its Own Tail. It's a closed loop. One end is Capitalism, the other end is Fascism.

Capitalism begets fascism, which then devours capitalism.

Yep. Then finally, isn't that kinda' when the "People's Revolution" kicks in!

No. I mean "target." Who is the mysterious scammer trying to scam?

lol

Musk didn't set out to trash his reputation. He's just too arrogant and dumb to realize that his political activities would ruin Tesla.

I'd add that Musk is basically accusing Trump of being a pedophile, and Trump is threatening to cut billions of SpaceX contracts. This is not just "trading barbs."

Musk controls the board and the company. He's not going anywhere. Nor is throwing a national multi-day temper tantrum, basically demanding more cuts to federal services, going to repair his reputation.

lol... Musk and Trump. Obviously.

Sadly, this also harms the nation as a whole, as its leadership looks like a clown show.

Or....

Musk is almost certainly now on the verge of losing billions in contracts, tens if not hundreds of billions in stock valuation, and getting extensively investigated by the DoJ, SEC, INS.... He's not going to benefit.

Dear Leader made an enemy of the wealthiest man in the world, who has an enormous megaphone, no filter, and is attacking Trump like a rabid weasel. He's a conspiracy theorist who knows what buttons to push. He could potentially kill the big tax bill, and fund primary challengers to pro-Trump Republicans. Trump is not going to benefit.

Let's get real: The whole "Trump is playing 11-dimensional chess!" is utter nonsense. Both of them are creatures of pure impulse, who routinely step on their own plans with their lack of impulse control. This is not some brilliant plan to make them both look like geniuses, it's a pair of toddlers fighting in the sandbox.

I have to wonder if you've ever heard of Ockham's Razor.

You also might want to read up on hubris.

I made no mention of any past posts. But it seems pretty clear to me that on some level, you just don't want to accept that the two most influential people right now in the MAGA movement are immature thin-skinned narcissists, with zero impulse control, that now hate each other, because they both want power and attention, and see the other one as in their way and/or having more than they do.

Weird take. I literally said it’s obvious to me that they’re being “slimy” and “manipulative” and intentionally trying to use people to personally gain from the manipulation.

How you turned those obvious criticisms into a complimentary statement really required a shit ton of mental gymnastics and defies the most fundamental aspects of logic. That’s probably why you had to write such a rambling novel to make your point.

Very bizarre, not to mention a bad-faith post on your part.

Have a nice night.

Ketamine.

🤷‍♀️

This breakup was inevitable. You don’t get two egos that big orbiting around one another without them inevitably clashing 🤷‍♀️

Drug fueled behavior is my second guess behind manipulative, attention seeking behavior.

When a picture is truly worth 1K words. Even Taco would understand it.

George W Bush was such a disaster I thought there would never be a worse president in my lifetime.

Then Trump happened.

I think GW was otherwise a good man though, jpn. I think he wanted what's best for America.

He was just way, way, over his head, and fell under the spell of Cheney and his Neocons.

They are much closer than the Left would care to admit. The only major difference being trade.

That a bunch of overwhelmingly liberal ass chapped presidential historians show their bias is a surprise to know one.
Trade, good governance, the fact that Bill Clinton isn’t a walking personality disorder and has about 40 IQ points on Trump, the fact Bill Clinton wasn’t easily manipulated and didn’t shower America's enemies with praise…

Basically, everything separates Trump from Clinton.
