I absolutely support the First Amendment and the right of free speech. I also support the laws, found by the courts to be Constitutional, that limit free speech. Why do you ask?

Now that the Administration has contacted the Accreditation organization, official letters will follow until someone files a lawsuit. That will start the issue on it's way through the Courts. Then all will be revealed to you. (That's the Constitutional process.)

Oh, this one is easy. @RetiredAtLast is only allowed to support the First Amendment in those situations where it benefits Donald and his children. If it affects Donald or his business, political and sexual interests negatively, then @RetiredAtLast is required to advocate for its limitation.

Thats a precious thing to bring up as the IDF is currently committing genocide against the Palestinians. Hamas had previously acknowledged Israel's right to exist ( an absurd demand that Israel makes upon no other nation...and no nation has a "right" to exist), but in light of the IDF's actions, it is all a tiny bit hypocritical.

Genocide is made more difficult when it's done the way the IDF does it, by warning the civilians to clear out before a major attack takes place.

As has been pointed out many times, the IDF is really bad at not killing civilians, even when they are desperately trying to gather food rations.

Yeah, after the 2 most recent invasions of Gaza by the IDF, that killed thousands. The IDF is surpassing its long history of killing at least 15:1. And if you think Hamas was at anytime an existential threat to Israel, I have some Gazan Israeli coastal property to sell you, just be careful around the unexploded IDF munitions and Palestinian bones.

From the reading of it. It’s clear the trump administration is full of horse crap.

Columbia brought in police to clear protestors and had people arrested , they investigated claims of harassment and when the amount of complaints got to great they created another entity to investigate. And they suspended students who got caught violating policies .

Heck they were dealing with people who after the police cleared them out and arrested 100 protestors they were back a couple of days later. The police could not deter them!

Columbus isn’t a prison , they aren’t a police force unto themselves.
They are an institute of higher learning and it’s clear they did everything that was in their power AS A SCHOOL to make campus safe and a place of free speech and learning.

The irony here? Is that in “ protecting Jewish students? The trump administration has suspended the accreditation of the very school these Jewish students are at!!
Now they are going to a unaccredited school!!! Which hurts the Jewish students!!

Hamas has it within it's power to end all of the killing and bring a lasting peace to Gaza. But this thread is about Columbia and it's problems. I'm unwilling to go into the history of the area for the last 77 years.

Bullshit, the IDF has had complete control of the open prison that is Gaza and the West Bank since 1973, in that time Israel has stopped all attempts to create a two state solution and end its illegal occupation. We are now witnessing Israel's final solution of the Gazans, and the West Bank is next.

Yes, I would advise against you trying to defend the genocide of Israel against the Palestinians, it is a no-win argument. It is a total hypocrisy of the Jewish state to be committing genocide against anyone considering their own history, but it just goes to show that any population has the capacity to commit abominations, whether that population thinks it is extra special or not.

I was just quizzing an AI. If it speaks correctly, Master’s University, Northwest University, Cairn University, Whitworth University, and Huntington University all have restrictive codes requiring a statement of faith in Christianity and in at least the first case the recommendation of a pastor to enroll. And they are eligible for Pell Grants and are considered accredited. Go figure.

If punishing rabid antisemitism “annoys” people then those people need to do some soul searching. Private entities are not bound by the first amendment and the institutionalized animus and discrimination against Jews at Columbia is a violation of Federal law.
