Clinton leads polls

Because a sizable number of the Republican Party membership thought it was more important to rebel against their Party Elites when those Elites tried to rig the primary to get their own guy nominated. Trump entered the race...the rebels flocked to him...the Elites failed...and the rest is ongoing history.

The Elites started out with Jeb. :doh

Yes.

And when Trump made short work of him, they went to their backup...Rubio. When he crashed and burned, they went with that guy they REALLY didn't like...Cruz.

I posted this as a counter to the trump poll thread.

You can find a poll at any given time that is in favor of your candidate. That is why they are a joke.

True, because there are two sets of polls: the correct ones, and the ones that favor Trump. With only two candidates, we're covered.

Believe what you want, but we will find out in Nov.

Yeah, and they all said that last election. Can't trust the polls! Polls lie!

Except they were dead on.

Sure, the election isn't until November. Lots can change between now and then. That doesn't make the polls inaccurate today.

So...according to this poll Trump wins. Yay polls?

I still can't wrap my head around why Republicans picked Trump, they knew Hillary was going to be the nominee and they had plenty to choose from in the primary that would have beat her and yet Trump and Cruz were one and two.

As bad as Trump is, I think Hillary might actually be leading Cruz by 20 if he were the nominee.
