Ooops, my bad, I meant to type "Fund inspired by Ivanka Trump getting $100M from Saudi Arabia and UAE".

Saudis And The UAE Will Donate $100 Million To A Fund Inspired By Ivanka Trump : The Two-Way : NPR

USA Today quoted a June 2016 Facebook posting in which Trump said, "Saudi Arabia and many of the countries that gave vast amounts of money to the Clinton Foundation want women as slaves and to kill gays. Hillary must return all money from such countries!"

During an October debate, Trump also told Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, "Saudi Arabia giving $25 million, Qatar, all of these countries. You talk about women and women's rights? So these are people that push gays off business - off buildings. These are people that kill women and treat women horribly. And yet you take their money."

I suppose SA and UAE have reformed with Trump as president, and they now treat women and gays as equals! Yay Master Donny.

Such hypocrites.

From the article
Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates will donate a combined $100 million to a World Bank fund for women entrepreneurs that was the brainchild of Ivanka Trump.
And
The World Bank fund, which provides technical help and investment funding for women business owners, differs from the Clinton Foundation in some significant ways. While Ivanka Trump proposed the idea along with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, she is not involved with its operation.
Im not really seeing a problem here. Seems kinda dumb to not take the money.

You realize the Trump's have a long history of taking money ear marked for charity and redirecting it to themselves, correct?

You must have missed the OP remarks from Trump about taking money from a country that kills gays and treats women poorly...

Saudi Arabia donates to the World Bank and you try to mischaracterize it as payola. Democrats really are wretched.

Please provide the exact wording that led you to this false conclusion.

I’d call it a bribe or just a thank you for letting a journalist get murdered for say bad things about their prince. Payola? Ha, let’s talk supporting murder.

According to the article there is no evidence that she has any hands on involvement with the organazation nor is there any evidence she has taken any money.

No i saw it and i was ready to agree with you until i read the article. What your suggesting or the article is that if Trump does not criticize the charity he is a hypocrite because he criticized the clinton foundation for it. Thats a flimsy attack.

No, of course not. She was simply an innocent bystander who had no idea that the 'charity' she and her thieving family started was a scam.

I agree but I also thought the same thing about the Clinton Foundation. The point of the OP is that if it were Hillary doing the exact same thing she would be accused of corruption and enabling oppressive regimes.

Why is it flimsy? He's either being a hypocrite or he's not. Has SA and the UAE started treating gays and women equally?

Its flimsy to criticize someone who has no involvement with them

Not really. Had he criticized them without adding the qualifiers of how SA treats gays and women, you'd have a point. So why would it be OK for one fund to take money from SA and the UAE, but not another?
