Classified documents from Biden's time as VP discovered in private office, source says

I’m far from alone in saying that:

The discovery of the classified documents in his former office in November set off alarm bells inside the White House, where only a small circle of advisers and lawyers were aware of the matter. An effort was launched to search other locations where documents from Biden’s time as vice president may have been stored.

The White House declined to comment on the matter.

Beyond confirming that they were found, I am unaware of any comments about any details. What I will agree with is that their communication strategy had been very poorly handled .

not Trump is right - Trump had documents that people knew he had and he had them locked and only for what, about 1 year?

Biden has had these from 8-10 years, scattered in several areas/places, not secured ......... we know Biden is connected to China and Ukraine, we know he has 50 years of rubbing elbows with crooked politicians and we know all the while he had these documents he blasted trump for the very same thing

Biden is worse

good point, but I have another article one that states it on Biden specifically. I'll find it and post later. I'll check to see if that is referencing something incorrectly as well, or try to.

That's BS. No one would ever say he was incapable of having them. Having them with knowledge and intent is something else altogether. We will find out the circumstances soon enough meanwhile.......let the conspiracy theories, suppositions and assumptions fly. It is what the right does best!

No. It was another white house lawyer that does have clearance, I believe.

I wouldn't call appointing a Special Counsel to investigate how, when and why the classified documents got to his home or office spaces he's utilized "leaving him alone". Surely, you recognize the DoJ at work here.

What likely has you pissed off (if not just a tiny bit upset) is the fact that the media isn't falling all over itself over this story concerning Pres. Biden and classified documents. There's a reason for that - several, in fact, and it's quite simple - so simple even a "uneducated conservative Republican" can grasp it if they tried...just alittle. You see, unlike The Donald, Biden hasn't tried to claim that:

* the documents were planted by the FBI
* the documents were his
* he declassified the documents (or rather, that his former boss, Pres. Obama did)
* he didn't have any more classified material via written correspondence from his personal attorney

And after NOT making any of those claims, the one thing Pres. Biden has NOT done is attempt to sue the United States government to prevent having the classified material returned to the Executive Branch on top of having a Special Master assigned to review said documents (and other personal items), so as to prevent him from facing legal liability for retaining said classified documents AFTER claiming all such material had been returned.

There are clear and obvious distinctions between what both men did concerning the discovery of classified material found on their property (and in Biden's case a public office space he frequently used for a short duration)...if you tried just a little bit to grasp them.
