The universe of US law, and every well adjusted person over the age of 20.
Some of these men are suspects in the disappearance and murder of Brittanee Drexel, who was 17 at the time she went missing. No one has been prosecuted as of yet, but law enforcement has spoken about information suggesting that a gang of sex traffickers kidnapped and ultimately killed her, after selling her to men dozens of times.
He said "child sex freaks." Sorry, I see that as adults preying on 15-year old kids or younger. Certainly not some guys in their 20's going after 17-year old young women.
BTW: age of consent in SC is 16.
Not if age of consent is 16.A guy in his 20s seeking out HS juniors is a predator.
That has nothing to do with consent for sex.And age of majority is 18.
Not if age of consent is 16.

Good griefEven if age of consent is 16.
It's the age when someone can consent to sex, which is the issue here when someone is calling the adult a "child sex freak."Age of consent is not age of majority (adulthood).

The question of child or adult is answered by the age of majority, not the age of consent.
Only in America is a 17-year old considered a "child." SMH
I dont know...in todays world they might be seen as rockstars. This is not the same as being a child molester. These guys are running stables of underage girls, adults...they are pimps. There is a concern about the same thing happening in the Latino communities. Washington DC has had lots of young women show up missing and there is concern that a-no one cares about them because they are black and b-that they are being sold into sexual slavery. The CNN article interviewed a young woman thatwe essentially kidnapped from Detroit, sent to Atlanta (where they have no contacts and are further stuck) and was used as a child prostitute for years.Child sex freaks are frequently top targets in prison by other inmates. They better watch out in the shower room and the yard.
I don't know anyone over the age of 20 that would consider a 17 year old an adult. At 17 one's world is small and responsibilities are largely academic. At 17, people haven't even finished developing physically. A woman of such age generally has breasts but never hips.
At my ripe old age, 46, I don't consider anyone under 30 an adult. People in their 20s, including myself at that age, don't know their ass from a grenade.
I don't care what you consider an adult.
In SC, a 17 year old is old enough to consent to sex with anyone they choose. Hence, it is not a sex crime to have relations with one. RoadVirus's comment was dumb.
The question of child or adult is answered by the age of majority, not the age of consent.
I certainly don't advocate for old men banging high school chicks. I just took exception to RV calling is "child sex."And I don't care that you don't care. haha
You can go on considering people that have not fully developed physically, and have not developed at all introspectively, to be adults. I have higher standards.
Not a sex crime but certainly a predator. Guys in their 20s going after HS students are pathetic yet harmful.

So much disgust here. Not only the sex trafficking but this informant is coming out after so many years. How can someone witness such a thing and not run straight to the police? smh
You think the story should be ignored...because the perpetrators are black? Dood...thats some seriously racially motivated **** you got going on.
One individuals posting history doesnt change the facts regarding the case and the ongoing tragedy. FFS...we literally have modern day slavery happening in the US.Horrible crime. I hope they spend the rest of their lives behind bars.
It is an important story and my initial reaction to ecofarm's post was like yours. Then I looked at the OP's posting history. When you constantly post about crimes but never about crimes commited by your own demographic group, it brings one's motivations into question.

First, in what universe is a 17-year old a "child"?
And, second, this really is not all that unusual. After all, it's not like white guys don't snatch women off the street late at night, rape them, kill them and then feed them to the gators of put them in a deep hole.
If she was just another drug-addled missing hooker, no one would care. What needs to be focused on, IMO, is the importance of listening to your goddamned parents. When they say don't go to Myrtle. Don't ****ing go to Myrtle.
If they were white would the OP have posted their pics?
I would hope so. The more people see their faces the harder it will be for them to do the same thing again if they get off and try to do this again in the future
