Chik-Fil-A: More proof Americans have had enough

Looks like homophobes and bigots have a lot of free time.

I do have free time, but if I had gone down there, would I be a bigot?

typical liberal statement ^^^^. anyone that does not share my liberal views is a homophobe and a bigot.. by the way, haz, there were a lot of blacks in those lines at chick fil a. were they all bigots too?

what is it about free speech that liberals hate so much?

I see all these (IMO) homophobes and bigots in this thread being real smug.

Meanwhile, real people are being hurt by your twisted version of Christianity.

Christ never said one damn word about homosexuality. Love and tolerance towards others--that's it!! You guys fail miserably at being 'good christians'. IMO.

This Chick-Fil-A Dan Cathy is just a watered down WBC Fred Phelps. He is scum.

Sean Hannity can act disgusted by Phelps daughter and her crew, but he's just a notch or two away on the bigotry belt.

IMO, you people are disgusting and anyone who showed up at Chick-Fil-A yesterday can go to hell. God (or whatever you believe in) is watching. Your smugness will bite you in the ass.

And if you did go to Chick-Fil-A and had a less than pleasant experience, you can write about it here.

I'm in support of same-sex marriage, but don't believe in the government bullying a fast-food restaurant around for political reasons. You can tell me to go to hell had I the actual ability to give my support for the restaurant in this matter (and I would have), but I know I support free speech, even if I incredibly disagree with the speech presented.

Do you notice Pete that there have been several comments on that video and no one, not even the people on the left, have questioned whether he is a progressive or not?
LMMFAO - boy is that logic - NOT.
One "progressive" acts like a jerk, therefore all "progressives" are jerks. Got ya.
Then there is Scott Roeder...

Up until 2 months ago your heroic president held the exact same view on homosexuality (and persoanlly he still does) and on gay marriage and you never called him out...not once. Your hypocrisy and mock outrage is beyond laughable

You know there was a time when Mitt Romney was more liberal than Ted Kennedy. lol

Yep...you wont get me excusing his fli flopping. Heck...Ive called him out on it and said thats just one of the MANY reasons why i would never vote for the guy. That however does NOT change the fact that up until two months and lets be honest...STILL...liberals did nothing but defend and excuse the president for his oh so bigoted religious belief that homosexuality is wrong and gay marriage should not be allowed. Where was all of their fautrage? Its OK...dont answer...we know. And hey...for someone that is critical of Romneys shifting morality...you ought to be extraordinarily careful playing with those rocks in your little glass house.

Chick-Fil-A

Proof that apparently EVERY-****ING-THING can turn into an argument about Obama and Romney.

Grim, you're politicizing this issue as much as the partisan pro-GM side...

Can't we just buy food and not bitch when CEOs give their opinions when being interviewed while not being punished?

I support Chick fil-a in this and I am a supporter of same-sex marriage, but I cannot show my appreciation locally.

Grandstanding by a couple mayors -- who I don't agree with, by the way -- hardly justifies a nationwide campaign, nor was a response to a Rahm the original cause behind the appreciation day. Huckabee made his cause clear -- he's against gay marriage. The people turning out were mostly chooseing to embrace that political statement.

The truth is that government keeping Chick-fil-A out and denying same-sex marriage are similarly inappropriate in my mind.

First, I didn't politicize it, Rahm Emanuel did. That's why so many people ate at Chik-Fil-A this week... Second, why in the hell would you believe the CEO should be punished in the first place?

What you don't understand is, this isn't about this one incident. This is about 4 years of the "out of the closet" progressives who have for the first time, shown publicly what their agenda and beliefs really represent to America... It has woken the silent majority into action.

I don't think I said the CEO should be punished for holding a view. I've consistently stated that CEOs shouldn't be punished for holding opinions, so either I mistyped my post or you misunderstood it.

It's true that Rahm Emanuel politicized this issue, but so have many others, including you. You've turned the instance of numerous people buying Chick-fil-A sandwhiches into an attack thread against progressives, the Obama administration, and the "awakening of the American people." Oh puh-leeze. You're politicizing this issue, spinning it, just like your political counterparts. What's next will be someone saying this fight over chicken nuggets will awaken the silent majority.

Even more proof here!!!!!!!

I'm surprised Bloomberg had the time to speak out on this since he is busy micro-managing every moment of his peasant's lives. At least, for once, I agree with him on something.

The most signficant response to this situation is from the biggest mayor of all, Bloomberg mayor of NYC, who doesn't support bans and boycotts.

Bloomberg Joins Chick-Fil-A Fray, But Says Government Shouldn’t Interfere

Bloomberg says Chick-fil-A can roost in NYC - New York Daily News

This anti-Chic-fil-A campaign will fail. Without Bloomberg, it wouldn't work even if it could.

Cool. Looks like a cheap excuse for bigots and closet bigots to get out...
****ing morons.

IMO Dan Cathy is a watered down Fred Phelps. This picture represents that.

If you're celebrating this company, you're supporting people similar to the WBC.

IMO.
