It’s home. It’s preferable to other locations. I love some of the ideals - but many of them exist in other places. We aren’t the only democratic nation on the planet and not even the most democratic.

I wonder about those 'fools' then who went to war and died for your freedoms, and to preserve the USA?

I respect their duty and sacrifices. You wouldn’t see me going to war nor would you see me encouraging my son to do such. In fact, you’d see me actively DISCOURAGING him to do such - just as my family discourage my generation from serving.

Very few people in my family have served since Vietnam - and most have been discouraged from doing such.

We treat our Veterans like shit - and pay our soldiers shit. No thanks.
