Beofre the trial started today, it was indicated that the defense will have an expert to show that movements (voulantary/invoulantary) after the shot and after Zimmerman holding the hands could have caused the hands to go back under the body.

None of the eyewitnesses to the fight has said that happened. Maybe no one claimed to see "the end of the fight" -- I don't remember. God, it's confusing. I think he actually said that someone said they were calling 911 and Martin said something like, "They've already been called. Help me hold this guy down." Or something like that . . .

Correct. Zimmerman claimed many instances of dialog with people that never happened or were never seen by witnesses. He also claimed that while Martin was face down, he continued "cursing at him". None of the witnesses heard any of this and the position of the body was photographed.

See the thread at the top of this subforum, it has Z's walk through with the police. Therein, Z explains the "pinning".

No witness saw the shot. Each saw the fight before and/or after the shot when Z gets up.

I think you meant that it was Zimmerman who said that, and it was also Zimmerman who recalled it in one of his police interviews, or maybe with Hannity.

Anytime there are tests done with groups of people or as individuals to a crime scene - and then asked them even basic questions - it amazing how WRONG they will get it and how much they don't remember. While lay people tend to think eye witnesses are the best evidence, if just bystanders who happen to see things they tend to - in reality - be the worst evidence. Unfortunately, this results in many wrong (both ways) verdicts.

In addition, from birth thru childhood, a person is trained/conditioned to give the CORRECT answer, not the accurate one.

Among youthful conditioning, people from childhood are conditioned to lie. For example to say you like a gift when really you don't. Years ago I was in an accident that I caused - and was in a hurry. So I wrote out on a note my name, insurance company, contact info and a sentence that said "I was at fault for the accident" and left. The insurance company was so pissed for that note they cancelled my policy. :lol:
