Busted; Why The Numbers Behind Mitch McConnell's Reelection Don't Add Up

Lawmakers passing laws is not election fraud.

Yet, the laws that exist you refuse. The judges (even Trump's) seeing no evidence you refuse. It's always you people who pompously promote the idea that you care about law, but really only care about how your sensibilities can be catered to at any given moment. For that matter:

- It was the Democrats who tried to make counting machines more secure in 2019 and in 2020. It was the GOP that refused these lawmakers to pass legislation.

SO, why would the GOP not want them more secure, only to turn around and accuse those same people who tried to make them more secure of rigging them? Are you capable of at least trying to reason your way through the GOP cesspool? Or does the mindless "I care about law" the only thing you need to sustain your delusion?

Nor is it discrimination! Every legal voter in this country who wants to vote, can vote. The same rules apply to everyone no matter what color your skin is or what gender you are. If some effort needs to be required on a voter's part to ensure election integrity, so be it. Rules apply to everyone and it's not discrimination. It's voter integrity and this nation MUST figure out how to get it. The "make it as easy as possible" goal has run right into the "election integrity" need. Election integrity must override all other whining and excuses. This election was a mess and I'm thoroughly convinced that was the covid "excuse" intention. That excuse was a recipe for fraud and corruption - and it worked as planned. Fraud and corruption was present in abundant supply!

Absolute bull shit.

You declare that "legal" votes matter and that who wants to vote should vote. Yet, you turn around and play the right-wing game to imply, without evidence, that this election was a mess. You ignore that it is the GOP, and their conservatives, that has a long documented history of attacking minorities and closing the vote to them.

It was only a mess because you people allowed yourself to believe that you were cheated. Again, you had no problem in 2016. Now, with the same system used for decades and decades being even more secure, you whine in accordance to Trump's orders about a fantasized fraud to explain away his loss.

Merely opening your mouth and vomiting stupidity does not create fraud. Ask one of Trump's lawyers why they couldn't even convince Trump's appointed judges of fraud. The only thing to figure out it is how to lift an extreme number of our population up to a place where self-respect and integrity matters. Because as of still, right now, a traitor like Trump can open his zipper and the masses fight to be first in line.

Even as Republicans across the country still insist that the election was rife with fraudulent Democratic votes, no one’s asking how McConnell managed one of the most lopsided landslides of the Nov. 3 election. They should. An investigation of Kentucky voting results by DC Report raises significant questions about the vote tallies in McConnell’s state.
  • McConnell racked up huge vote leads in traditionally Democratic strongholds, including counties that he had never before carried.
  • There were wide, unexplained discrepancies between the vote counts for presidential candidates and down-ballot candidates.
  • Significant anomalies exist in the state’s voter records. Forty percent of the state’s counties carry more voters on their rolls than voting-age citizens.
  • Kentucky and many other states using vote tabulation machines made by Election Systems & Software all reported down-ballot race results at significant odds with pre-election polls.
When Trump says “look over here” at Dominion voting machines, maybe we should look at ES&S machines instead. When Republicans spout unfounded claims that Democrats stole the election, maybe we should be looking at Republican vote totals instead. And when Trump calls this the most fraudulent election in our history, maybe he knows of what he speaks.

Mitch was always leading in the polls. I am actually more suspicious about South Carolina than KY. Graham was losing before the election, and he outed himself as a cheater by calling on Georgia to “lose” a few votes.

I’m sure that making the “wrong votes” vanish is common practice in SC

You are damn right we should. The legislators in AZ subpoenaed the Election Board to allow a forensic audit of Maricopa County voting machines. The Election Board is refusing and has now taken a case to the State Supreme Court fighting it. What do they have to hide?

Nothing.

They have already investigated these matters, explained away inconsequential human errors that were immediately already corrected during the counts, and are now fed up with having to placate to the more stupid of our population who demands that they conjure up corruption just to satisfy their partisan needs. They put to rest the Georgia issue. They put to rest the Ohio issue by exposing the right-wing organization that was trying to deceive the population. All you people do is move from state to state in your quest to find your fantasized fraud.

It is boring, embarrassing, and an absolute insult to the integrity of the nation before all the world. Trump's autocratic friends are having a good time while the lot of you play the third-world "shit-hole" game.

Absolute bull shit.

I applaud your compassion.

You are taking the time to tell the pitiable the things they need to hear
even though you know they are unlikely to hear you.

I appreciate your Sisyphean efforts.

glad you're still here after all these years

I don't support ANYONE who engages in election fraud. Period.
Wait...do you actually think I'm a Republican? LOL!!
You're a Trumpco customer only, huh?

So, you support the ****tup anti-American authoritarian Trump, but not the ****ed party he leads.

got it

You too. The site wasn't even a year old when we became members.

I took a break for a few years when Tea Party-like conservatives began their journey into the abyss because a man like Obama dared enter the White House; and debunked conspiracies began to assume the place of shattered ideologies. Now they are Trump's conservatives. The GOP failed the country. Remember I used to chastise the liberals?

And you know they hear me and the rest of the world chastising them. This is why with every new Trump scandal they merely doubled down, became even more obtuse, and bloated their "deep state, fake news" fantasies. Anything to avoid the mirror.

The judges have nothing to take a look at. Even Trump's lawyers know this because they have produced nothing. Homeland declares that it was the most secure. Barr declared that his department sees no fraud. Republican governors have declared no fraud. All Trump did was use partisan affidavits, full of unsubstantiated lies, to create controversy among the weaker minded.

Trump was claiming fraud long before the election, setting the stage for the three ring circus he unleashed after the election. He knows exactly how to manipulate the base and he uses his media arm to reinforce his lies. Trump rakes in a fortune in donations for him and his family from those easily duped and Fox et al rake in the advertising dollars. Amazingly Trumpsters are happy to be duped. Personally I think they thrive on conspiracy theories .

It is not the judge's job to investigate. It's Trump's job. He has failed because even he knows that there is nothing to investigate. He knew that you people are so entirel

Why didn' t Trump' s legal team take all their evidence to the FBI or maybe they did and the FBI said that it was not sound evidence. It' s their job to investigate not judges. Courts don' t investigate for evidence , they adjuticate evidence..

All these accusations of voter fraud yet there is no credible evidence of it.

Trump supporters just mindlessly repeat what they've heard.

None of them read the actual bullshit lawsuits that were filed.

Can they even read beyond, you know, the third grade level?

You are right. Consider their wrecked ideologies:

1) The NeoCon ideology to spread democracy in the region fell completely apart with Iraq. Personally, I believe that had Rumsfeld allowed the military to implement the CENTCOM plan, Iraq would have turned out much better. But either way, immediate success and the fact that ready-made Democracy didn't simply spring forth, the NeoCon ideology was shattered. They didn't even care that, seven years after the 2003 invasion, twenty-three Arab states rose up in protest for socioeconomic justice and democracy.

2) Trickle-Down economics was proven a con game during the Great Recession. The GOP led the first bail-out to mismanaged banks, which still seized homes and small businesses. Republicans made a mockery of capitalism and the free market by providing a life line at tax-payer expense. These banks and corporations went on to reward their financial leaders, who were firing American citizens with gusto. The rich actually got richer while the rest of America was waiting for them to "trickle-down." It was discovered later that, despite the bailout, the banks and corporations were sitting on almost a trillion dollars, proving that consumers create jobs, not the wealthy elite. And without jobs and paychecks, the consumers stopped coming, thus producing no incentive for the corporations to do anything but pocket.

3) The idea of small government and small debt is a delusion. Reagan & Bush widened government. Reagan, Bush, and Trump proved to be big fans of debt.

They really have no ideologies beyond that, thus their bitterness has led them to playing the perpetual victim, armed only with false rhetoric and sad agendas. Their 2A whining comes down to Democrats across the nation being gun owners too. Their abortion whining comes down to pushing their religion onto others. Their whining about "the lefts" communism comes down to blindly supporting a man who cozied up to Russia and North Korea. They rationalize by implying that only China is a communist. Their "support the troop" comes down to worshipping a draft dodger who routinely denigrates the military. Their Christian moral authority comes down to following their evangelicals as they grovel for a serial adulterer who solicited sex from pornographers and found pleasure in seperating families and losing kids at the border.

So in the absence of any surviving real ideology, the GOP built platforms merely to oppose. They went from supporting the argument about Global Warming to outright denying the science. They chose to argue against the national statistics on childhood obesity and promoted tomato paste and pizza companies as "liberty." They produced the Birther Movement. They invented Benghazi conspiracies. They pretended that "million of illegals voted for Hillary," making a mockery of Trump's win. They chose the opposite of all the world when it came to the virus. Without a real reason to support Trump, they pushed the QAnon nonsense as a reason. And after promoting Trump for his conservative judge appointees, they now dump them into their deep state fantasies because they won;t hand him a sceptor.

They are literally without purpose and without an identity.

Why didn' t Trump' s legal team take all their evidence to the FBI or maybe they did and the FBI said that it was not sound evidence. It' s their job to investigate not judges. Courts don' t investigate for evidence , they adjuticate evidence..

Showing that there is nothing there.

Trump supporters just mindlessly repeat what they've heard.

None of them read the actual bullshit lawsuits that were filed.

Exactly:

2012 Study: They found that someone who watched only Fox News would be expected to answer 1.04 domestic questions correctly compared to 1.22 for those who watched no news at all.

2015 Study: A new study by Bruce Bartlett, a conservative economist, top official in the H.W. Bush administration and domestic policy adviser to Ronald Reagan, concluded that Fox News viewers tend to be less informed and engage in "self-brainwashing."

2016 Study: William Poundstone has done similar surveys, both of current events and with more general knowledge. "In my research too, Fox News viewers scored the lowest of over 30 popular news sources (though Fox viewers did at least score better than those saying they didn't follow the news)."

2017 Study: Trump has received unsparing coverage for most weeks of his presidency, without a single major topic where Trump’s coverage, on balance, was more positive than negative, setting a new standard for unfavorable press coverage of a president. Fox was the only news outlet in the study that came close to giving Trump positive coverage overall, however, there was variation in the tone of Fox’s coverage depending on the topic. When Trump’s category-by-category coverage was examined for each of the seven U.S. news outlets in our study, a consistent pattern emerged. The sources of Trump’s most and least negative coverage were similar for every outlet, except for Fox News.

2019 Study: Fox News likes to tout the “hard news” side of its operation, setting up a false distinction between its right-wing prime-time hosts and the members of its news team as a defense against those who flag the propaganda, lies, conspiracy theories, and bigotry that pervade the network. But a Media Matters investigation found that the “news side” isn't as inoculated as the network claims. We looked at Fox News and Fox Business programming for the first four months of 2019, and we documented examples of the “news” division spreading misinformation on air every single day between January 1 and April 30.

Wait...do you actually think I'm a Republican? LOL!!

Of course you do. The documentation is clear that the GOP routinely practices voter fraud and voter suppression tactics on the individual and organizational level across the country (Want the proof again?). Yet, there you are clinging to your partisan position for the GOP and irrational hatred for Democrats who actually represent your socioeconomic interests far better than what Republican's have proven to do over the last many years.

And you currently support Trump's attempt to manipulate the population into believing that there is fraud, translating to his attempt to commit fraud, so that he can win. His own National Security Advisor just called upon the military to implement sedition and to freeze the Constitution over this debunked conspiracy that has yet to produce any evidence. Do you actually understand what propaganda and rhetoric is? Because that is all you are swimming in. After all of this, you still think you can promote yourself as being a law-abiding Constitutionalist?

Nobody did this to you. For years, you chose to play to Trump's tune, no matter what he ever said and no matter what he ever did. You don't get to pretend otherwise now that he has lost and you need a debunked conspiracy about fraud to provide you some cover. You either are a Republican, and now see shame in that, or you are simply a proven, delusional Trump worshipper who is highly susceptible to right-wing manipulation. You are definitely at least the latter.

I certainly don't think he won the election and I very much want to know who was the fair and square winner. I sincerely think this country needs to know and with as much certainty as humanly possible. So many, many fraud opportunities and loose or even complete lack of rules will prevent some things from ever being known. But, we can thoroughly investigate what is available (like those Maricopa County Dominion machines) and then we need to completely overhaul our election processes to make them both tight and secure!
Trump won

No, your rhetoric is over the top and people are going to die because of rhetoric like the kind you are repeating:

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.
There is a big difference in calling someone a traitor and accusing them of Treason.

Right now there's a group among us that are just fine with violating others' Constitutional rights. They are totalitarian in their thinking. They promote socialist policies where government is given control of every aspect of a person's life. They are behind the cancel culture that destroys another's life if they dare express a view that they do not agree with. They have the funding of the very wealthy from Hollywood, Big Tech, MSM, and Wall Street. All wealthy globalists and there are a lot sheeple out there with minds of mush that get behind the crap these people push willing to relinquish their on rights.

There's a great quote that is fitting during this time of contesting the election results and those fighting for their own Constitutional rights.

"Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never--in nothing, great or small, large or petty--never give in, except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy." - Winston Churchill

I'm sorry but you don't know what you are talking about.

This thread is music to my ears!!!!!!! Let this country find out who really won every race from one coast to the other. Let's dig deep and quit saying "nothing there" to all these questions!
The swing States have had the scrutiny you are talking about now we need to look at Kentucky the same way. Lets do a "hand recount" like we had in Georgia.

You're a Trumpco customer only, huh?

So, you support the ****tup anti-American authoritarian Trump, but not the ****ed party he leads.

I think for myself. I've never been a herd beast.

Does that chap your ass?

That's not a crime.

Hell, McCain did it and he became a hero to the left.
Packing all the blacks in a few districts so Republicans can win all the other districts is actually something that a ton of Trump/ Rush/ Hannity Republicans look up to.

And the Dems, don't forget. They do it, too.

.......and Georgia wasn' t even a swing State. It is a State with solid Republican political lesdership including a pro Trump SoS overseeing the election. Why on earth would they allow, facilitate or ignore the type of fraud being alleged? What is their motivation in subjecting themselves and their families to threats of violence and death ? Do Trump supporters ever sit back and think or are they totally dependent on Fox, Newsmax, and OAN to think for them ? The only fraud is the fraud in the WH.
