Just heard it on the news. Not a country fan but that man is a legend. Not a bad actor either
 
That's terrible. A blast from my very young past, I'm sorry to hear it.
 
I hate to hear anyone having Alzheimers. It is like a slow death sentence where you just so ever slowly slide towards the end. The worst is knowing you have it and soon your memories will all be erased.

Yep, my mom had it for seven years and as it got progressively worse, her memory faded. She got very frail and couldn't do anything for herself. She died five years ago at the age of 77. It's not something I'd care to be stricken with, but unfortunately, there is that possibility.
 
My mom died of LBD (a form of Alzheimer's). 2-5 years from diagnosis to death, she went the full five. Horrible disease.
