Okay. Gotcha.
This will be my last reply to you. Anyone so ignorant of political ideology that they cite Archie Bunker as an authority just isnt worth another minute of my time.
Yes unironically 100%. The post Civil Rights era has completely retconned the entirety of American history about this topic. Immigration was seen as a way to bolster our numbers for settling the nation, and later when the entire continent was settled was justified in eugenic terms of introducing fresh blood into the genepool. Immigration was initially only available to "whites of good character" had strict quotas even on immigration from white nations for the sole and explicit purpose of preventing anyone from using it as a demographic weapon. It wasnt until the mid 60s that this ended and it was ended with the explicit promise by all parties involved that it was only to help "refugees" and would never be used to flood our nation with foreigners. Then by the 90s this was completely dropped, Bill Clinton looked directly into a Camera and told America he was working to ease them into the transition to being an white minority country by 2050.What is it with the ******s on the right that they freak out if their neighbor eats with chopsticks or speaks Spanish? Do they know nothing of US history? Am I losing my country because the guy running the corner store calls God “Allah”?
Examples? No, I disagree. It's straight up, in your face white nationalism on Fox.
This thread is all about gaslighting this shooter w/ Tucker Carlson, which you have no problem with.. and you talk about convincing "low minded" individuals.Yeah. Keep trying to gaslight. You might convince some of the low minded.
Yes. So?This thread is all about gaslighting this shooter w/ Tucker Carlson, which you have no problem with.. and you talk about convincing "low minded" individuals.
Gaslighting?? You deny that Carlson has been repeating the "replacement" conspiracy theory over and over? Guess what - he took the racist theory that Jews were behind the 'replacement' of whites and substituted 'jews' with dems. This thread is all about gaslighting this shooter w/ Tucker Carlson, which you have no problem with.. and you talk about convincing "low minded" individuals.
You do not know where this commy asshole was radicalized. The replacement theory was also promoted on CNN.Gaslighting?? The original theory is a toxic stew of paranoid racism, but Tucker's version of it is absurd on its face . The only impediment to Latin Americans voting for Republicans is the hateful rhetoric coming from people like Carlson. Hispanics have been voting in increasing numbers for Repubs. in spite of the hate speech because they tend to be religious, pro-life, and are often comfortable with patriarchy. How do people fall for the greedy, malignant, Tucker Carlson's of this world?
As my shrink wife might say, your comment is "projecting." Our laws *were* being used as a demographic weapon, you said so yourself above, to keep northern Euros in, others out. When JFK came campaigning in my Italian neighborhood in Brooklyn in 1960, he said that Nixon had supported the discriminatory immigration law then in force which was biased against Italians and others. That law was changed in 1965, removing those biases. (Our refugee laws actually remained biased in favor of those fleeing communist countries/Middle East until that geographic/political bias was ended with the Refugee Act of 1980.) Hence the new, more diverse population of Immigrants since 1965. (When has our nation NOT been flooded with foreigners?) Thence the repeat of the periodic US freak-out over immigrants that Trump sensed and exploited.Yes unironically 100%. The fact that the same people doing this added stating what they are clearly and very often openly doing to their hyper-specific list of "conspiracy theories" you arent allowed to think doesnt change anything.

That the country having a white minority in its future has been (probably accurately) predicted long before Clinton. Time magazine did a cover story on America's changing face around 1970, puttIng a, well, face on its cover of a brown-skinned woman of indeterminate ethnicity. North America became whiter after 1492, then darker after 1619, then whiter with the arrival of the scorned Irish, then browner with a tinge of yellow when Italians, Jews, Japanese and Chinese showed up.
A sad side to our wonderfully diverse country is that folks like Tucker Carlson keep putting down what makes us more special than many other nations. To use a baseball analogy, which was more interesting to watch in the 1950s (I am dating myself, but trust me), the diverse, daffy, winning Brooklyn Dodgers or the boring, matchine-like winning NY Yankees? And folks like Tucker have been spinning BS analyses for over a century. My fave was some theory that Sicilians, Irish and Jews were barely white since they came from the southern, northwestern, and eastern extremes of white Europe.
What did he mean by that, what was the context? He indeed has a varied record on civil rights. But George Wallace changed and expressed regrets, Jessie Jackson apologized, Trump never does. That's the difference.Replacement delusion began with the paranoid dog whistle screed of Ultra-liberal Joe Biden calling out the encroaching threat of the "Racial Jungle".
His racial paranoia has caused the deaths of untold thousands of what he calls in his racist theology this Jungle Menace

The only way Republicans can defend what their party does is to lie.The NRA doesn't protect guns!?!
The US was never a white country and we never had immigration laws to reflect that.Right so exactly what Im saying. This used to be an explicitly white country, our immigration laws reflected that. The idea of America as the feeding trough of the third world didnt emerge until much later. "The Great Replacement" isnt a conspiracy theory unless the people buffalo bill style wearing the skin of your heritage to tell that its akshooalee our CORE VALUE, and what makes us SPECIAL and STRONG. White demographic decline isnt a randomly occurring force of nature its the result of several explicit changes to our immigration policy, some of which you just listed for me, meanwhile any attempt to counter this through legislation or even just executives enforcing laws on the books is "white supremacy" which Dems either think needs to be crushed with violence or passively denied any representation in government or even the media.
Thats what this whole thread is about. Proponents of Immigration want to retcon their very very recent, unpopuar and dishonest (Hart Celler was passed w all parties involved promising it wouldnt effect racial demographics.) into being our most sacred unassailable value while making any criticism of it "stochastic terrorism" treated as a threat of violence.
The REAL question is why so many people who fall under the category of "privileged" dont see this worldview and the things your saying as a threat.

Thing I don't understand is why any need at all "to counter this"? And Holy Emma Lazarus, Batman! -- a "feeding trough of the third world"? Wretched refuse indeed!Right so exactly what Im saying. "Wretched refuse" means nothing to me because I know the history of the statue of liberty, the political views of the guy who wrote that poem, why it was added to the statue and what Americas immigration policies were at the time.Thing I don't understand is why any need at all "to counter this"? And Holy Emma Lazarus, Batman! -- a "feeding trough of the third world"? Wretched refuse indeed!
I've quoted this before, but an African in London responded to a challenge about immigration from a Brit with "we're here because you were there." We have lots of Vietnamese here because we were there. Why do you think one gets great Indonesian food in Amsterdam, great Indian food in London, great Ethiopian food in Rome? Mexicans are here for a variety of reasons, but one of them is we took over half of their territory. Actions have consequences.
That was citizenship. Not immigration. Put your sheet back on.H. R. 40, Naturalization Bill, March 4, 1790
This 1790 act set the new nation’s naturalization procedures. It limited access to U.S. citizenship to white immigrants—in effect, to people from Western Europe—who had resided in the U.S. at least two years and their children under 21 years of age. It also granted citizenship to children born...www.visitthecapitol.gov
The very first immigration law only applied to "whites of good character." Quotas which reflected the heavy bias were not stopped until 1965 all with promises that America would be a white nation forever and this would never change.
A 1790 law was the first to specify who could become a citizen, limiting that privilege to free whites of “good moral character” who had lived in the U.S. for at least two years. In 1870, the right of citizenship was extended to those of African origin.
You believe that denying citizenship to immigrants based on race isn't an immigration policy? Have I got this right? That was citizenship. Not immigration. Put your sheet back on.
"Commy Asshole"? You are really really confusedYou do not know where this commy asshole was radicalized. The replacement theory was also promoted on CNN.
And You avoided the question - did or did not Tucker Carlson promote the replacement theory hundreds of times? You do not know where this commy asshole was radicalized. The replacement theory was also promoted on CNN.
It’s our strength, not a punishment - a reward, a happy result of bad policies, whether imperialism, blind anti-communism, etc."Wretched refuse" means nothing to me because I know the history of the statue of liberty, the political views of the guy who wrote that poem, why it was added to the statue and what Americas immigration policies were at the time.
Also one post ago immigration was OUR STRENGTH, now its OUR PUNISHMENT for colonialism.
What a great argument. LOLConservatives are racists. Sometimes they shoot people for being black, in fact.
It's at the point that I assume any claim a conservative makes is a lie. It usually is
I don't watch Tucker Carlson to tell you how many times he's talked about it. But, CNN has also promoted it. The shooter is a self-avowed communist and you have no idea which media outlet he watches. It's not in his manifesto. And You avoided the question - did or did not Tucker Carlson promote the replacement theory hundreds of times?
Show me where /when this lie is promoted on CNN. The following is what you will find on CNN:
Analysis: How the ugly, racist White 'replacement theory' came to Congress
Pennsylvania Republican Rep. Scott Perry used a House Foreign Affairs Committee meeting on Wednesday to spread an ugly, racist theory that "native-born" (read: White) Americans are being purposely replaced by immigrants as a way to alter the culture of the country.www.cnn.com
Analysis: The racist 'replacement theory' has it all backward
Far right White supremacist groups, conservative media personalities and now Republicans in Congress are trying to inflame nativist feelings among conservative Whites by warning that liberals want immigrants to "replace" native-born Americans in the nation's culture and electorate.www.cnn.com
