I have a huge respect to British state, this country is not just created our Liberal Order , but they still are ready to fight for it! Terrible News for pootler ....

Britain is co-ordinating with its allies on a potential plan to send warships to the Black Sea port of Odesa to offer a protective escort to ships exporting Ukrainian grain.

Lithuanian foreign minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said yesterday he had discussed the creation of such a 'protective corridor' from Odesa with British foreign secretary Liz Truss.

He also said a 'coalition of the willing', made up of NATO countries and other nations reliant on the grain such as Egypt, may be willing to commit military resources to bolster the protection and avert widespread food shortages.


The plan would see allied navies clear the area around the southern port of Russian mines before protecting freight ships carrying the vital produce from Putin's warships according to The Times.

Let's see how Russia responds to a carrier battle group with a bunch of F35-B on board.
Maybe just a Type 45 to stop any air attacks?

The Royal Navy may not be the world's largest any more but what is has is quality over quantity.

It is the Daily Mail so it actually happening is remote.

Also the UK would be absolutely nuts to put an aircraft carrier into the Black Sea with planes that are questionable at best.

But to get there, the UK would have to go through the Bosporus which means Turkey permission... Turkey might let a few destroyers through, but a carrier group? hell no.

thank you man , for this . I just finished a Crimean war book. British ships have always dominated oriental barbarism (y)

what do you think about our Harpoons , can Ukraine clean western part of this sea from Muscovite pirates ?

The Crimean War was anything but “domination”. The British commanders were, at best, borderline totally incompetent.

It rented Awacs from the US in the lbyia war and only fired a few token tomahawk missiles compared to a 100 of USAs tomahawk


They are just dragging the US navy into it.

Oh , I totally agree about The Daily Mail.
It's absolte shite.

As for the F35 it's a fine aircraft it was just massively overhyped and overpromised.
It's not the invisible wonder weapon some people thought but the sensors on it make it a formidable adversary that's extremely hard to sneak up on.

As for getting into position I assume we would only be in places with the knowledge of local allies.

Yep, right around the time America was fighting a bloody civil war over slavery, which was followed by a century of brutal oppression.

Gee, if that’s “slavery” then so were the actions of pro American dictators from Greece to Argentina.
