What'll happen with UKIP once the UK is truly out, btw?
Does anybody still need that party once their main goal was achieved?
So, this is what happens...
Labour Party in full leadership coup attempt. Timed resignations, coordinated resignation speeches by the Blairite rump and a robust defence by the centre and left of the party.
Conservative Party in full civil war as 'Anyone But Boris' campaign revs up.
I have a feeling that the knowledge that the party would defeat any challenger to Corbyn resoundingly might prevent this coup from succeeding. I'd give it a 30% chance of success.
I also reckon that Teresa May is the one who is going to benefit from the Brexiters complete lack of a plan for what happens now.
Any thoughts?

I think it would be awesome if Boris Johnson became PM. If I were British he would have my support.
UKIP is like the AfD. Discontent is their chief source of nourishment (besides cows' droppings). What'll happen with UKIP once the UK is truly out, btw?

Farage won't allow that, he'd have to fade. They were pretty irrelevant already in national elections and I suspect that they will slowly merge into the Tory party or whatever comes out of that civil war.

But Boris is fun though. Brexit has already made a mess of things, why not keep it going and see where it leads to? The results could be interesting, at the very least.I hesitate to say this as bringing US politicians into a Europe thread can take this down the US politics route but would you really vote for someone who is lying to you about the main planks of his campaign and everyone knows it? (and they still voted for it!)

They have only one MP, and he defected from the conservatives. Their leader is a MEP who pops across the channel now and then to insult other Europeans and screw every cent from the expenses.

That idiot Corbyn was asleep at the wheel, and largely slept his way through the referendum campaign. He's only fixated on preserving his own dictatorship over the Labour Party.
I haven't been a big follower of news and positions in the Labour party but Hillary Benn is a Blairite?
Yup. Has been since the early Nineties.

....and he's a comedian.There is a god.!
There is a god.!
So accusations that Jez voted to Leave.
Really? Where did you hear that?
S'okay, found it. It comes from one of the coup leaders, Chris Bryant. Truth or nasty smear? I'd probably veer towards the latter.
