It's not anyone in the hospital leaking it, so your HIPAA violation is out. If you'd bothered to read the article you'd have seen where it cites an anonymous source in the DAs office which they deny.Really? Copying a picture from another site? Tell me where the HIPAA violation on that is.
So... that is all you have....
People love to talk about how there is "institutional racism" in this country. And they are right. But the racism perpetrated by the "institution" is put in place to give another person advantage of others forsaking all other reasons except one... the color of skin.
I don't think it gives anyone an advantage. I think it is the institution saying that there is no way a black person can do this on there own...so we have to help them. That to me is the worst kind of racism present in our country (in large scale).
Either way you look at them, those policies are either racist against blacks, or racist against non blacks.
I'm not talking about the grants and small scholarships through PRIVATE GROUPS such as you listed. I'm talking about the ones REQUIRED BY LAW to "achieve diversity". Which are based strictly upon SKIN COLOR. See the link... And the grade point average of the students are NOT a FACTOR...just skin color.
Diversity Matters
How many seconds does it take for the eye to swell shut?
Not necessarily. When I think "hospitalized," I don't even think of treatment in an ER; I think "admitted" and "given a room." I was in an ER basically all day yesterday, and the big question for me was would the person I was with be "hospitalized."
Some major surgeries are performed these days on a day-stay/out-patient basis, and you could have your gall bladder removed in the morning and be home by early afternoon.
You ever watch boxing or particularly MMA fighting? This injury is often suffered in the ring, especially in MMA as a result of a punch or a thrown elbow. And many continue to fight until the end of the match. LATER the eye may close and surgery may be required, but NOT NECESSARILY immediately.
Depends on how forceful the blow is. But any blow to the face such as being claimed will make it virtually impossible for the cop to see out of that eye CLEARLY .
You aim with one eye.
The officer who fatally shot an unarmed Ferguson youth suffered a fracture to his eye bone in a scuffle with Michael Brown, according to a family friend.
The hospital X-rays of the injury have been submitted to the St. Louis County prosecuting attorney, and will be shared with a grand jury now weighing evidence to determine if Officer Darren Wilson should be charged in the shooting.
Yes, couple of differences you forgetting.
1) MMA fighters were gloves with padding.
2) MMA fighters are trained to take blows such as that.
3) MMA fighters eyes do swell up during the fight.
There is always symptoms right away.. anybody having been in a fist fight and being hit in the face.. will tell you this. Your eyes water if it's a direct hit, you get a bit of your "bell rung" and it takes you a bit to unring that bell. Another point is, the claim is the cop was beaten unconscious.. Sorry, you don't get close to beat unconscious and shoot the ****, period. You aren't all there if you take that kind of beating.
This is a fallacy, police and military are "taught" to shoot with both eyes open. US Army (since you sport the CIB) teaches Reflexive fire which is shooting with two eyes open and not "aiming" via iron sights. You know, why Reflex sights such as the ITL MARS, EOTech, Trijicon and Aimpoint variants are used.
But even if you disagree with that... for shooting a pistol in a "self-defensive" situation cops are trained to shoot with both eyes open for the purpose of situational awareness. I.E. they don't "sight" but rather point the weapon on target. With long distances when ready to fire quick close of eye mere tenths of a second before firing and reopening of the eye to keep scanning. Reason for this is your closed eye takes time to adjust for the equal or greater time you had it closed. So if you are sighting for 2 mins, it'll take your non-dominate eye 2 mins or longer to adjust.
Probably why he hit him in the arm and shoulder. Thank god he had good training.Depends on how forceful the blow is. But any blow to the face such as being claimed will make it virtually impossible for the cop to see out of that eye CLEARLY .

BREAKING REPORT: Officer Darren Wilson Suffered “Orbital Blowout Fracture to Eye Socket” During Mike Brown Attack | The Gateway Pundit
If this is a fact, this has been a week and a half of unnecessary involvement of FOUR POLICE DEPARTMENTS, the Missouri National Guard, various FIRE Departments, the stupid democrat governor of the State of Missouri, Obama, Holder and millions of dollars spent because of this thug, Michael Brown and all the usual suspects such as the NAACP, Sharpton, Jackson and the rest of those lying bastards. I hope your GD welfare payments are forfeited.

2 minutes?
Where did you come up with that number?
Where'd you hear that? On TV?
I was taught to shoot handgun with both eyes open. But when I'm shooting through my scope, I always just use one eye. One shot, one kill! Oooo-rah!
So its anecdotal to you right? It's an example if you closed your eye for 2 mins. If you closed your eye for 1 sec, it would take about 1 sec it for that eye (and brain) to focus again. Go ahead and try it.
Where'd you hear that? On TV?
So what is your point? If he is trained to shoot with both eyes open, certainly he can do it with one eye open.
This one i know for certain
