What unearned income?
Would you be okay with paying an inheritance tax based on a government assessment of the value of the inheritance?
How much more do you want them to pay on their income? How will this help if we're borrowing half of what we spend now?
Who is "rich"?
What is "fair share"?
Is this another "he's a liberal so he must be young and immature attack?" First of all you have no way of knowing his age, secondly it shouldn't matter as you are the one acting immature, thirdly even if he is still in school at least he learning and being educated something most conservatives seem to never do. They just parrot what the Right-wing media tells them. Can I ask a question, where are you going to school?
The top 1% of wage earners make 20% of all income and pay 38% of all FIT taxes.
The top 5% of wage earners make 34.7% of all income and pay 58.7% of all FIT taxes.
The top 10% of wage earners make 45.8% of all income and pay 69.9% of all FIT taxes.
The bottom 50% make 12.8% of all income and pay 2.7% of all FIT taxes.
Currently approximately 47% of all Americans pay nothing in FIT and actually get money back making their tax rate negative.
Take it up with the IRS who says differently
i don't believe a person making 50k doesn't pay taxes. the top 20% own all the wealth, why shouldn't they pay all the taxes?
Aren't we still in Iraq and Aghanistan and that was not included in the graph for obama.
You miss the point, I really don't care how much someone else pays in taxes or who doesn't pay any taxes. I am more concerned over a 3.7 trillion dollar budget promoting out of control spending. If you are concerned about income taxes then promote the elimination of the 24 million unemployed or under employed Americans and then collect something from the millions who don't pay any FIT now. Think the rich can fund the liberal spending appetite? They don't have that kind of money.
Well it was a crappy graph as it purported to include "new" spending, which is pretty much irrelevant by itself. Bush did enact the tax cuts but Obama extended them. To the NYTimes it seems it is only bad for Bush because he did it first.
Posted over and over again but you ignore data and links.

No, sir! If such is every allowed, that one vote should be casted only in the state where said corporation is headquartered. But now, who would cast that vote?If a corporation pays taxes it should have complete representation as well
meaning it should be able to vote in the jurisdictions where its located
just saying..........
Yes, and part of Obama's big plan for solving the debt crisis is saving 1 trillion dollars in Iraq from a war that we are exiting and not going t spend anyway. Creative liberal accounting.
what? the irs tells you that 50k of agi is not taxed? lol!
Obama only extended the top tax cuts because the Republicans were fully prepared to shut down the government if he didn't. Just like they're prepared to wreck the economy if they don't get 100% of what they want in the debt limit negotiations.
It's still a decrease in spending compared to bush* and the republicans
Where did you post it? I must have missed it

Adjusted gross income of 50,000 has led to people not paying any FIT and you don't have a problem with that but still want to raise the taxes more on those that do pay most of the taxes without any thought to the consequences. Still waiting for a response as to why you support people earning 50,000 or less paying nothing in FIT, NOTHING, but would rather try to get 70 billion a year from the rich who already pay most of the taxes. That is liberal logic and shows that liberals don't think.
I really don't care how much someone else pays in taxes or who doesn't pay any taxes.
Obama extended the tax cuts. Period. Always an excuse it seems.
No, it isn't a reduction in spending as the reduction has already occurred.
Not surprising, you never read what anyone else posts but simply go on with your talking points.
You said I could ask a question and I did, where are you going to school? Waiting for an answer.
You must not believe any politician alive or dead or anyone who works in Washington D.C. They've all changed their minds... Mr. Obama more so since he's the President. Now you say that you DO care. How can we believe someone who has changed their position?
