Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro was born in Colombia and is therefore ineligible to hold the high office, said members of a political partythat opposes his presidency.CNN reported that Mr. Maduro’s detractors accuse him of a Colombian birth
or of holding duel citizenship with Colombia — both scenarios would make him ineligible to hold the Venezuelan presidency. And they’re taking those claims to the European Union, pressuring the group to quit recognizing Mr. Marduro as a legitimate officerholder.
“This is an international problem,” said Pablo Medina, a member of the Patriotic Assembly, the party that opposes Mr. Maduro. Mr. Medina wrote the EU on the issue, saying it “should know that any contracts or any agreements that they sign with Nicolas Maduro, a Colombian citizen, are invalid, illegal, null and void,” The Blaze reported.
In response, one of Mr. Maduro’s supporters said in the CNN report: “I sincerely regret these rotten, ill-intentioned campaigns.”

And apparently the birth movement has spread. It has gotten to Venezuela now. I wonder if Orly Taitz is gonna hop on this bandwagon as well?
