Biden's 'pandemic of the unvaccinated' narrative falls apart as omicron cases skyrocket

OK- here's a hypothetical : Let's say the entire world got vaccinated and there were still vast hospitalizations, now what? Who would you blame then?
Let's say no one got vaccinated. Do you have any idea how many more would be dead now? Millions. The dead who refused vaccination have no one to blame but themselves.

Hospitalizations and deaths are nearly all unvaccinated folks.
This isn't necessarily true. It seems to be a localized issue.

For example...

Researchers studied COVID cases at the Houston Methodist healthcare system and identified 862 people with symptomatic omicron infections from late Nov. to Dec. 18, 2021. The study, published Sunday, reported that early signs show more people are getting infected with omicron despite being vaccinated. Patients with the new variant are "significantly less likely to be hospitalized," and the disease is less severe overall.

Of the patients with omicron, 430 of them had been vaccinated, and researchers state that compared to patients with other variants, omicron caused "a significantly greater percentage" of breakthrough cases.

Additionally, according to the study, nearly 9.9% of omicron patients had received a COVID booster.

Why are you asking instead of answering first?

That is a very misleading statistic. 40% to 50% of the people in the study were admitted for other reasons and tested positive. Wanna bet most of those were the vaccinated? Most all vaccinated people have mild symptoms from omicron. Very few are hospitalized from the symptoms. I doubt any of them even knew they had covid when they were admitted.

At Methodist, about 60 percent of hospitalized patients are showing up because of COVID symptoms. The rest tested positive after being admitted for other issues.
At Ben Taub, Dr. Robert Atmar says more than half of its patients who tested positive were admitted with non-COVID issues.

"Because we’re testing everybody who comes in, we’re identifying those people who are infected but coming in for a different reason," Dr. Atmar said. "That said, there are still patients being admitted with omicron variant for COVID."

When did Biden say vaccinated people can't spread the virus?

The quote you provide is irrelevant.

The article I presented was very specific: "identified 862 people with symptomatic omicron infections" "Of the patients with omicron, 430 of them had been vaccinated".

When did Biden say vaccinated people can't spread the virus?
He said it months ago before the Delta variant changed the equation and omicron threw it out the window. When he said it the CDC had taken masking off for the fully vaccinated too. There were no indications that the vaccinated could spread the original covid virus.

It does not say that any of the vaccinated were admitted for covid symptoms does it? The vaccinated have symptoms from omicron just not ones that require hospitalization. Vaccinations only protect against serous covid not other ailments. I am not denying the the vaccinated can get omicron but they are not being hospitalized for it like the unvaccinated. That is a lie.

Now what other excuses are the Biden supporters going to come up to ignore the reality that it isn't the unvaccinated or Trump supporters spreading the variant and virus?
Upgrading infrastructure could include mass storage and mass transit for goods and services.

Because Joe Biden did not in fact, have a plan for covid and he did not in fact, "shut down" covid.
He had a plan to get everyone in America vaccinated and we know what happened with that. 40% of Republicans refused to take it.

"identified 862 people with symptomatic omicron infections" "Of the patients with omicron, 430 of them had been vaccinated".

Do you understand what that's saying? If not, then there's no point talking to you about this.

Disinformation campaign speaks again, it is probably good most of you are not posting this nonsense to Twitter.

Who cares as long as they were not hospitalized for severe covid. That is not why they are in the hospital. That is what I am saying. Omicron is infecting everyone but it is still the unvaccinated that are getting severe illness and dying from it. That has not changed a bit.

Do you understand what that is saying? Because having a fever could be considered "symptomatic omicron infection" but not necessarily the cause of their hospitalization. In fact, a bad cough could be a symptom.

Half those w/ Omicron infections though were vaccinated, half unvaccinated. Where do you think you are going with this?

What part of "symptomatic omicron infections" do you not understand?

Never mind.

You are dismissed.

If you go to the hospital for say pain in your groin or a broken arm they still take your temperature and ask about covid symptoms. This particular hospital said they test everyone. So all "symptomatic" means is that they had symptoms (cough, sore throat, loss of taste/smell, fever) for Covid, were tested, found to have Omicron. That doesn't mean that was why they went to the hospital. That requires more information to know.

A sore throat and sniffles does not put people in the hospital. But there are plenty of other reasons that people are. And half of the people were there for "other reasons".

Here is a hypothetical. Let's say everyone wears a seatbelt and no one drives drunk, but some people still die in car accidents. Does that mean we should allow drunk driving and cut out seatbelts?

I am not saying to cut out anything!! I am simply saying what if everyone had the vaccine, and there were still all these hospitalizations for Covid, then who would you blame?

The fact is there would be far far fewer hospitalizations and deaths from covid if everyone was vaccinated. But there still would be some and I guess those could be blamed on the virus. That would be better than blaming all the unvaccinated deaths on Republicans right? That is the case right now since they are the ones claiming vaccinations are a "choice". They are not a choice and never have been and I do blame them for making up the meme. It's like saying to someone on a ledge that they can "choose" to jump if they want. We don't do that do we?

There wouldn't be that number of hospitalizations from the same variant of Covid. If it was a different variant, one that is later on down the line, that just means that those who continued to stay unvaccinated for so long screwed everyone over into having to start almost from scratch on getting a vaccine for that.

The real fact is that not all unvaccinated deaths are Republicans!!!!!!!
I am a Republican and claim "choice", but I am vaccinated! There are many like me!

No. They aren't. But there are still a significant percentage of Trump supporters who aren't getting vaccinated, especially when you compare those numbers to other groups who aren't vaccinating for various reasons.
