As of this moment, roughly 18 million vaccinations have been given. We are averaging some 940k per day over the last ~seven days. 38 million doses have been distributed suggesting enough doses in the field right now to maintain the current rate for another three weeks assuming no replenishment. So a million a day through mid February seems assured and the prior admin should get some credit for that.

Now going forward, I can’t seem to find any clear information on the production or replenishment rate, only some vague statements that reserves are depleted, which doesn’t make sense because we should be consuming vaccinations as soon as we get them and there shouldn’t be some large unused stockpile sitting around somewhere. Does anyone have production rate data?

What does that mean?

It means that a statement like "We are already vaccinating at 1,000,000 per day." is FALSE and it means that a statement like "Biden will have to cut back on vaccinations if he wants to vaccinate at 1,000,000 per day." is FALSE.
