It would be smarter to see how negotiations play out. The Taliban are shown to be pretty reactive and hard to control by their leaders, this could backfire at the cost of US lives pretty easily.
 
British Special forces are running in and out of Kabul rescuing their citizens. Why not the us?

I'm afraid it wont be long until we have a Black Hawk Down rerun of our citizens being dragged through the streets of Kabul live on TV

That would seem to be jumping the gun at this stage. So far no Americans have actually been harmed. Just tell them to make their way to the airport. If they're detained en route, we should be able to negotiate their release.

This should of have been planned along time ago, if Trump planned to withdraw Afghanistan by May, Biden should of got some advice from Trump to withdraw from Afghanistan.

You have actually destroyed your own argument. The fact that the Taliban are "pretty reactive and hard to control by their leaders" is precisely why negotiations with their leaders are pretty pointless.

These people are more likely to react in the face of possible imminent violence, so you misunderstood the context of the word "reactive"

The reason for the May time line is because we would have withdrawn before fighting season. Trump's plan was to get the civilians out before the military withdrawal... Biden not only delayed the withdrawal to the middle of the Fighting season, but pulled the military out first.

You can't explain away those basic truths, and they are why we are in the situation we are in now.

No, I don't misunderstand you. What you fail to realize is that their reactive nature, and the inability of the leadership to really control them is why no assurance by the leadership is worth a damn.
