You are unable to even complement our own military for the fantastic job they are doing in evacuating refugees and Americans who want to leave Afghanistan. That is a lack of patriotism AND integrity.

Since the Trumped-Up Administration signed up with the Taliban in 2020--Pompeo photo-ops included--then USA/NATO was in the only tenable option to take: Follow-through and withdraw. Then in creating the actual time-table, a pre-commitment to a later withdrawal deadline than May was created, still in the agreement phase. There was created a rational basis to proceed, and so accept assurances. One initial assurance was Afghan nationals with Coalition Permits, able to exit. So the Coalition was dependent upon an Afghan presence on the ground. That did not materialize. The National leader departed before Kabul was taken over. In the meantime, The Biden Administration had created its own working relationship with the Taliban.
So clearly it all looked messy. Unreported is that simultaneous with the Afghan Presidential exit, other urban centers were already heading back to business-usual-and while there was still time. The currency is worthless already,
Worldwide, capitals were wondering if the United States itself was still in control, and so what about Afghan interpreters and support personnel?
The government stayed employed--worthless pay and all. That accounts for that. 8/25 the planet finds 1,000 remaining U.S. Nationals being contacted, 5000 processed, most having left. So of upwards of 140,000 likely to be out by 8/31: Then easily US/NATO kept faith with its Afghan support personnel. It was ten years ago that the force was 100,000 Military on the ground.
Provinces have already reported resistance to the newly constituted Taliban: Even training guys to what in fact women are really for(?). That could be said embarrassing, but not about the Biden Mission, about to end. Out it will be.

I might add the none of the yahoos posting here know exactly at this time what will happen between now and Aug 31st with regard to our withdrawal of Military assets, what will happen on August 31st and none of us should at this point know. Its a dangerous conflict zone on foreign soil where we are conducting a military operation.
Americans, American Reporters and even Journalists and even Congresspeople knew how to deal with this at one time. No longer....its always now some cause for some segment of the citizenry and entertainment for another. SICKENING!
