Biden calls for tougher gun controls after Texas school shooting

You need to call Abbott, not Biden. Abbott is governor of the state, and this school district spent almost $500,000 on school security.

I didn't mention changing the Constitution. Little slow on the reading comprehension today?

The 2nd Amendment does save lives. Without it, too many law abiding citizens would have no protection against violent intruders. you are just speculating that gun control laws would save lies. Do you seriously think the bad guys give a shit about gun control laws?

If Biden actually cared about this he'd have his son prosecuted for lying on his gun application. He should be in prison. His daughter-in-law took that illegal firearm and ditched it in public next to a school. She also belongs in prison. But, Biden doesn't care about enforcing the law on criminals, only making it harder for law abiding citizens to own firearms.

But, Biden doesn't actually care about criminals illegally obtaining firearms. He just wants to play the game. And, until Democrats want these known gun criminals in jail they're just playing the game as well.

You don't need to be any kind of an expert to know that if you think someone has a mental situation that you don't suggest they go see an auto mechanic. You're just trying to dodge the fact that you yourself think mentally insufficient people should be weeded out but can't bring yourself to admit that happens from an evaluation by a qualified person.

I know. It was rightfully initially thrown out because suits such as this are precluded by federal law. An activist judge decided to ignore federal law and overturn the dismissal, so remingtons insurance companies settled out of court instead.

Regardless, manufacturers are not in any way shape or form liable for the criminal misuse of their products. You don't sue Craftsman if someone smashes in somebodies head with a hammer. Or easton if they use a softball bat.

I would not have settled. That logic suggests that if some sick individual intentionally runs down someone with a ford F150, then the family can sue Ford Motors.

Since most manufacturers are liable for their products, so should gun manufacturers be.

The case rested on the marketing of military style guns to the public. Most car manufacturers don't market their cars as military style killing machines, do they?
