It is true - beyond a shadow of a doubt - that the reason our vaccination rates are not higher in this country is because Republicans and Trump supporters have decided to make it a political issue they publicly oppose for the purpose of political advantage in their culture war against the Democrats. The only problem with this approach is that they are holding a huge chunk of the population hostage in order to achieve their political objectives.

But while Republicans whine, Biden is going to do something about it. And he’s he may suffer for it politically. That’s what makes Biden a real leader and everyone else a second-rate pretender. He has the courage everyone else lacks.

There were two data sets referenced in this thread and neither one indicted that Dems and Republicans are approximately equal in percentage terms with respect to vaccine hesitancy. The data set I referenced indicated that Republicans were significantly more reluctant to take the vaccine as compared to Democrats. The second data set referenced in this thread did not examine political affiliation at all. I will post links to both and you can show me where you got the idea that Dems and Republicans are equal in terms of vaccine hesitancy because I didn’t see it:
