Virtually the entire scientific community accepts Anthropogenic Global Warming. There were no climate models predicting that the poles would melt in just 10 years, or for that matter in the next 40 years. Many models do predict ice free summers in the Arctic by the end of the century. The claims of Al Gore are irrelevant to climate science.
