What do you think was the best Superbowl CommerciaL I liked the one with Paul Harvey and the farmer...I grew up listening to this man and have missed him dearly.......

I apologize if someone hs already started a thread on this issue.

i liked Paul Harvey's "Rest of the Story." i miss that segment; used to listen to it on my drive home from work every day.

Love him or hate him the man was one of a kind with the same news show on the radio for almost 60 years.

The Clydesdale commercial was probably my favorite. The "God made a Farmer" was definitely good too as you said.

Budweiser Clydesdale
Paul Harvey
Motana stain
Where do babys come from

in that order

This one was pretty good.

The Paul Harvey Dodge commercial was far and away the best. Nothing else was even close. Dodge deserves a lot of credit for running that because they know how much the braying loons hate that sort of American appreciation for it's own.

Course the loons don't buy pickups anyway, they love those little "green" cars that sound like overworked vacuum cleaners that can't quite pick up all the dirt.

Is it necessary to politicize every thread. I recognize this is a political debate forum, but still. The Paul Harvey commercial was great, and so far I haven't even seen any liberals criticizing it.

Yeah! Especially the punchline. :D

(revealing her jersey and thereby, motivation for washing his.)

It shouldn't take long for a parody: 'So God made a redneck'

The Budweiser clydesdale commercial made me teary-eyed. It really got to me where it matters.

That was a good one too.

The Go Daddy one was gross though.

Thanks for the link- I didn't see much of the game, and I missed most of the commercials. There's some really good laughs there.

Dear God yes! The image was bad enough but the sounds?

*I'm not picking on anything about the image except that it was a bit pedo

I thought it was pretty gross and something I didn't need to see or hear. :2sick1: The one they showed for the Super Bowl was a the mild one. Apparently there is another version with a lot of tongue action too.

I liked the Best Buy, Asking Amy and the Space Baby.

Why did you guys like the Budweiser ad? I didn't see anything that special about it.

The worst ad, though, was Gangham style pistachios. Was it just me or did it look like he was a riding a giant lady part?

The VW commericial made me laugh out loud.

My favorite of all time was this one:

Frankly, I think Bud was trying to gain the attention of female consumers with it. It was a highly touching ad if you have strong maternal and bonding instincts, or if you have had strong attachments to pets and/or animals on the farm, and understand that it was a love story about a human and his animal companion that he raised from birth, then sent on his way in the world. Seriously, it made tears well up in my eyes. I strongly identified with the sentiment expressed in it.
