Yuengling is a Philly beer, not Pittsburgh. It was founded in Pottsvile, which is closer to Philadelphia. No wonder the Steelers lost.

The rest of the menu for the 100 or so guests at the White House bash is tailgate-friendly even if served inside the Executive Mansion: bratwurst, kielbasa, cheeseburgers, deep-dish pizza and Buffalo wings with sides of German potato salad, twice-baked potatoes and assorted chips and dips.
Sounds awesome. There is nothing wrong with having a tasty food on special occasions. Plus, they offered salad and potatoes.

I don't see this as a misstep. Having some chips on the Super Bowl is fine, if you get any exercise at all and eat three square meals a day.

For the sake of the guests, I wouldn't want to force them to eat celery and drink juice during a Superbowl party.

I would make em drink strawberry smoothies and like it:2razz: Oh and make em eat raw broccoli with ranch dip and real bacon bits:2razz:

If Obama did this often, you may have a point, but no-ones gonna get fat off one day of junk food a year.

Most diets if followed reasonably well allow for splurges here and there. Also, if this is the point of the thread, than the thread is stupid.

Yeah, okay you go do that. The people with a penis will go in another room and be men. :)

Apparently, to partisan hacks, "lets get kids to eat healthier" means "NOBODY SHOULD EVER EAT ANYTHING UNHEALTHY AT ANY TIME EVER."
Because that's the only way the OP's premise makes sense.

I mean really. How much blind hatred does it take to talk poorly about eating chicken wings during the superbowl?

The only conclusion I can arrive at is that MrV hates the Superbowl, and football, and therefore MrV hates America.
