BBB just passed

Not so sure. They wrote the bill in such a way that all the "good stuff" starts immediately and all of the bad stuff kicks in after the midterms. Plus, alot of the "good stuff" expires in 2028, so Republicans can use it as a "hey, elect us if you want to extend those tax cuts!"

Because maybe if the good stuff has time to work the bad stuff may become less destructive, or disappear completely.

Both elections are far enough out that we'll have time to see some results (positive or negative) from the passage of this bill - so I do think those results could impact those elections.
 
I am surprised that the Freedom Caucus gave in so easily. Upside is the GOP never get to bitch about the debt again at least not with any credibility.

I'd give a year's wages to see their faces when they read they have no healthcare anymore thanks to the BBB pushed by a President they elected. There is something called "Poetic Justice" to all this.
