A senior member of President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team and a delegation of US Republican and European lawmakers canceled a briefing Thursday with Israel’s Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely over a refusal to allow a Swedish far-right member of the group into the meeting, The Times of Israel has learned.
iLOLTrump's not even in office yet, and we already have our second international incident.
Trump's not even in office yet, and we already have our second international incident. And this time, it's Israel that's pissed. There was a reason Israel did not want the Swede in the country. He's a Neo-Nazi sympathizer. Also is the fact that both the right and left have pissed off Sweden. The far-right Sweden Democrat party (Not to be confused with American democrats - LOL) has Nazi tendencies, and the leftists who control Sweden, known as the Social Democrats, recognized Palestine. There is no love lost between Israel and Sweden. However, Trump's representative, along with the right wing delegation from several European nations, which put on what was called the Jerusalem Leaders Summit, have acted very stupidly here. There are more than 6 million reasons that Israel does not tolerate Nazis or Nazi sympathizers in their country. To not understand that, and to snub Israel as a result, is just unbelievable. Trump needs put on his Apprentice hat once more and say to the person he sent over "You're fired".

This post contains several serious errors. The Swedish Democrats are variously the largest or second largest party in Sweden in recent polls. They are not by any wild stretch of the imagination remotely sympathetic to Naziism. Nor are they 'far right'; the SD is a mildly left big state welfareist party in the Swedish mold.
SverigeDemokraterna has been for decades the one Swedish party that has opposed unrestricted mass immigration. Their opponents have hurled abuse at them - xenophobes, Islamophobes, racists, far right and, yes, Nazi sympathisers.
I have a strong hatred of Nazis - being probably the only one here who was made a refugee by Nazidom (Paris June 1940) and bombed and rocketed by them (London 1941-45). If there was the slightest hint of Nazi sympathy among the Swedish Democrats I would not be defending them.

We're not going to have to listen to you spread bull****, and whine about Trump (the way you did Bush) for the next four years are we?

A spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry said the decision to exclude [Kristina] Winberg was made due to her party’s far-right and ultra-nationalist positions. [...]
“The Swedish representative is a member of a party with neo-Nazi tendencies and therefore the Foreign Ministry decided not to include her in the meeting with Hotovely,” Emmanuel Nahshon said.
I don't think the Trumpsters that have posted in this thread realize the horrific implications of this regarding Israeli-US relations. I am sure you all agree that under the Obama admin, US-Israel relations soured considerably. When you tally that up with this, and the implications this shows the role the State of Israel will play in the Trump admin, you do not find a very bright light at the end of the tunnel regarding US-Israel relations, at all. More inept shenanigans from Trump's clown car of a ****ing government...
Here's a slightly more in depth article:
Trump team boycotts meeting with Israeli official to stand in solidarity with Swedish neo-Nazi
First it was reported that Michael Flynn, Donald Trump’s pick to be national security advisor, had a meeting with the leader of a far-right Austrian political party that was founded by ex-Nazis. And now, a senior member of Trump’s transition team who was in Israel to attend “a gathering of conservative parliamentarians from the US and Europe” joined in a boycott of a high-level briefing with Israel’s deputy foreign minister after Israel refused to allow a Swedish neo-Nazi to attend the meeting:
Just... wow. Just wow.

Just one small thing wrong with this. Neither Kristina Winberg nor her party, the Swedish Democrats are even remotely sympathetic to Naziism and about as far from being neo Nazis as one can get.
Wow ... just wow Abbazorkzog, you have no idea what you are talking about.
That's a lie and you know it.
Go ahead, shoot the messenger. I'm just relaying what is said in the article. Can you be any more of a childish liar?
Relinquish civility in my presence at your own peril, mortal.
Exactly. It's not like the right were like that with Obama and Hillary.
Funny how you pretend the last 8 years and the right's and your whining, complaining and vicious hatred never happened. Making this is one of the most strangest and 1 sided post of the month.

If you want to say that my post is full of crap and explain why you believe that, then feel free to post away. However, if you are only here to make personal attacks and snide remarks, then just shut the **** up and leave the thread.
Second international incident? WTF, really? Sound more like whining and hyperbole, than real substance. And Sweden told you that the party isn't even remotely neo-Nazi.

Any time there was anyone acting in a Nazi fashion, there were thrown out. Other then that it's nothing but unsubstantiated allegations. Looks like you didn't do you research, and neither did the Israelis. So bottom line is just more whining about Trump.
How many leftwingers are bitching about Obama for 8 years? 0

Probably. But fair is fair. We've been listening to conservatives spread bull**** and whine about Obama for eight years!
LOL, quite a few actually. But no, not the neon spewed by the right towards Obama. Between the birthers, the Hussein Obama'ers, the Michelle is so ugly and fat'ers, the Bengazi witch hunters, let alone the **** head GOP elected officials who fought Obama on EVERYTHING, etc, etc, etc, etc.... you have some nerve.
