Seeking Trump's good favor, as always.
Ah. Very good point! Thank you!

Who didn't notify the mayors. The insolence is contagious!
(Axios) Abbott orders National Guard deployment to protests

It appears another state's citizenry will be under the thumb of the National Guard, even while there's yet to be any violence, nor has a demonstration even occurred.
The National Guard now seems to be getting deployed "in anticipation".
No one knows what you've been hearing because of the garbage sources you likely use.We have been hearing for a few years now if only Trump had deployed the DC National Guard on Jan 6 in "anticipation" of rioting, it could have made all difference.
To infringe on our constitutional right to protest.Abbott appears to be claiming he's deploying the National Guard prophylactically.
ICE is provoking violence in blue areas. New York City, Seattle, northern Virginia, Chicago, and Philadelphia are next.I wasn't even aware that could be done? To send the Military, where a problem does not exist?
I wouldn't doubt if Trump amplifies Abbott's actions via social media, before the day's end.
Just imagine if the powers that be, including Nancy Pelosi, had done that before January 6th. We could have avoided a lot of problems. But it would have been “bad optics,” and possibly led to “escalation.”
Personally, I think it’s a good idea. Anarcho-socialist crazies will be out in full force on “No King’s Day.” Arresting anyone tossing a pebble would be perfectly fine with me, because these people never plan on peaceably doing anything.
It’s better to be proactive than reactive.
You don’t wait for the terrorists to do the terrorism before stopping them. You don't sic the Military on the Citizenry "proactively".
Probably a good idea, considering what happened in Los Angeles. Hopefully it will end up simply being a weekend deployment exercise.

Except that Pelosi had no authority to call out the National Guard in DC.Just imagine if the powers that be, including Nancy Pelosi, had done that before January 6th. We could have avoided a lot of problems. But it would have been “bad optics,” and possibly led to “escalation.”

The problem seems to be rioting in opposition to the enforcement of federal law.
Its a problem. If there was no additional security would that reduce or enhance the possibility of riots?
There's been no riot. No events have even occurred.
Who said the NG is arresting anyone?WTF? Arrests are made after probable cause has been determined.
And these are not the droids you’re looking for. There's been no riot. No events have even occurred.

Sure do wish the National Guard would have been deployed in anticipation of January 6th 2021 in our Nation's Capitol.(Axios) Abbott orders National Guard deployment to protests

What role do you think the Speaker of the House has to play that is unavailable to the President?Just imagine if the powers that be, including Nancy Pelosi, had done that before January 6th. There have been anti-ICE protests, resulting in multiple arrests, in San Antonio, Austin and Dallas. The “anticipation” is for these organized protests to continue and intensify.

Who said the NG is arresting anyone?
Being a foreigner, you may not know this. But the NG cannot legally be deployed to the Capitol by the President without a written request. What role do you think the Speaker of the House has to play that is unavailable to the President?

This appears to be part of a hostile takeover.
