Hi, everyone. I'm looking forward to talking with all of you and wanted to introduce myself and my beliefs. I generally find labels counterproductive in political debate, but I can say that my politics are influenced to varying degrees by Catholicism, Old Right conservatism, and Austrian libertarianism. I also sympathize with leftist critiques of American policy to the extent that they're compatible with the above views, but I'm wary of solutions that tend too much toward socialism.

I hope to have some fun and productive discussions here. I'm not easily offended by opposing views as long as they're expressed in a civil way, so please don't hesitate to challenge.

Thanks,
Winston

When I first read your Self-described political position it immediately rung a [troublesome] bell.
The "'Red-brown' alliance" mentioned here...
FrontPage Magazine - Justin Raimondo: An American Neo-Fascist
Sort of a marriage of convenience of a Paleo-conservative/Buchananite and Chompsky.

It's been reenforced since, and I believe you've used the very site mentioned above, antiwar.com, twice.

Ordinarily I'd be surprised to see a "hello" thread Godwined on the second post, but I've already been here long enough to know better. Cheers.

The "second post" is really an inadequate description of an observation made 3 weeks After your 'hello'... and can only be made because so few others responded.
So your indignation is faux indignation.

And of course, my post was made after you showed politics befitting that observation and made here as you unwittingly forewarned us of your political predelictions.. here.
You have indeed (and already had) used Far Right Wing Buchanan's 'Amcon', Far Left Wing Noam Chomsky, AND anti-war.com itself Twice.
Like a glove!
