So you are going with the special prosecution is NOT acting legally but is acting politically. Interesting.

She thanked alot of people and especially the Sanford PD who have been crucified during the last few weeks. I think she wanted to try to alleviate peoples distrust of the police. All in all I am anxious to hear more about the evidence they have and I was really hoping she'd let some facts go but she did the right thing by not. We probably already know more than we should.
Its not illegal for the DA to charge someone with a crime. And it is not unheard of that people get charge with something for political reasons.
Justice means following the law. Not taking someone to trial because the masses call for it.Of course there will be people who are upset. However, the OVERWHELMING majority of the people in this country simply wanted justice to be served and that means, make an arrest and have a jury trial.
Zimmerman was already out of the car following Martin when the operator asked. Nothing proves he continued.
It is unknown who the agrgressor was.
What are you basing this on? You've been saying it for days and I have been asking you for some evidence for days. You keep saying I am ignoring it. But you havent shown it yet.
Z's claim rests on M throwing the first punch.
All evidence other than evidence that shows who threw the first punch is merely not contradicting Z's story rather than supporting it, imho. Imho, evidence supporting Z would be if someone saw Martin start the violence.
But I am funny in how I use words. I have noticed that a lot of people use them differently than I do.
That is not justice. There may be some truth to that. But the overwhelming majority of the people in this country simply wanted an arrest to be made and for justice to run its course.
That is not justice.
The operator told him to stay put before he left the car so it does prove he continued.
No it is not.
That's because you've been ignoring the evidence for days, even though I told you to look at for days.
Look. You post the same uninformed arguments over and over. He was advised byt he 911 operator. That's all they can do.
What a waste of posting space.
I think it IS illegal to charge someone with a crime when there is not basis for the charge. Its not illegal for the DA to charge someone with a crime. And it is not unheard of that people get charge with something for political reasons.

This is true.Z's case rests on him being defending himself when he pulled the trigger.
And you know this is so, how?Neither is an eight hour investigation, this is what sparked it getting this far.
This is true.
And that claim to self defense goes out the window if Z started the altercation.
Hence, Z's claim rests on M throwing the first punch.
W/o that detail, Z cannot claim self defense.
This is what happened.Funny, no ample evidence existed until the angry mob formed.
First, the angry mob wanted him to be detained and interrogated. How awful was it that he wasn’t even questioned and was simply allowed to walk home. I heard this over and over a month ago.
Oops. He was detained. The media got the story wrong. He was questioned for hours and hours, and consented to a form of lie detector even.
Next, the angry mob wanted his gun to be taken. How ridiculous is it that the person shooting the poor innocent boy got to leave the scene of the crime with his gun.
Oops. The gun was taken from him as well.
Now I hear that all we really want is an arrest so a trial can go forward. Sorry If I sound skeptical.
The real hypocrisy in it all though, is I keep hearing how Zimmerman should of let the police do their job. This is coming from the people that have done nothing but question the job the police and prosecution has done regarding this case by not issuing an initial arrest and pursuing charges.
I think it IS illegal to charge someone with a crime when there is not basis for the charge.
This is a logical thing to do.So I just heard, from a US Asst Atty, that most likely Zimmerman's attorney would ask the judge to make a ruling on his immunity due to the SYG law so it may never get to a trial...

I doubt a Judge will grant the motion, a Judge might, but I doubt it. But the motion needs to be on record for appeal purposes.
Learn that they are not mutually exclusive. That means you can act legally AND politically. :doh
I just hope the truth leads to justice. I heard the Special Prosecutor speak. I thought she spent an awful lot of time thanking and naming specific judicial staff, investigators, etc., and the governor of Florida. Seemed almost to the point of being a bit much, to me.

It can be, but doesn't have to be.Is this something that is argued before a judge or just a motion?
