Attorney: New audio reveals pause in gunfire when Michael Brown was shot[W:72,732]

Re: Attorney: New audio reveals pause in gunfire when Michael Brown was shot

This video of the autopsy press conference is more complete. The conference seemed to be over but questions brought Pascell and Baden back to explain another important point.
At minute 33:51 Baden explains that the bullet that entered into the very top of the head stayed in the brain case and was recovered by the previous forensic examination at the front of the brain.
Notice the gesture that Dr Parcells makes indicating the path that bullet would take from the top of the head towards the front of the brain.
This trajectory would be impossible if Brown was standing in any way. This bullet entered Browns head as he lay face down on the street as the bullet angled down towards the front of Brows brain.
Keep in mind that this was the fatal wound.

My position is that this case will be decided in court, using all of the evidence that is available at the time that it goes to trial.

Exactly what is your problem with that?

Re: Attorney: New audio reveals pause in gunfire when Michael Brown was shot

Wrong.

That wasn't what we were discussing.

You have my permission to discuss whatever you want to discuss from now until the end of time, but it won't have any effect on this case, which will be decided in court, where your opinion won't matter.

Re: Attorney: New audio reveals pause in gunfire when Michael Brown was shot

It should perhaps be noted Jerry that if we waited until "all the evidence is in" we would probably have nothing to discuss on these boards. Think of how many Obamacare threads/posts would never have been started (after all, it hasn't been fully implemented yet and even then it will take years to see the full impact of it). The Israel/Palestine forum wouldn't even exist. Quite a few threads in the science and technology forum wouldn't exist. And I could go on and on. Suffice it to say...at least 90% of what's posted here at DP wouldn't exist.

Just saying.

Re: Attorney: New audio reveals pause in gunfire when Michael Brown was shot

If you continue on past that point folks, you hear exactly what Buck Ewer seems to be trying to hide.

Dr. Baden was asked a question about a the wounds being inconsistent with running from the Officer, Baden clearly stated that they were from the front and that they are consistent with moving forwards or backwards, not running away from.

Here is a better video than the one he provided.
Start @ the 20:00 min mark.

Four Eye-witness accounts AND autopsy findings AND the audio tape timing of the shots all line up with each other.
Wrong. You have four liars and a lack of understanding of what Dr. Baden has said.

Said an opinionated one. :doh

The evidence is pretty clear, which should indicate what the GJ should find.
You don't want to discuss that? That's fine. You don't have to.

Nor has what you said addressed what you quoted. Figures. Way to deflect.
And btw, no one here needs your permission.

Re: Attorney: New audio reveals pause in gunfire when Michael Brown was shot

Where did I ever say that anyone needed my permission? I didn't, I just gave it because I'm a generous guy and I like to give away things that cost me nothing.
Quote the times when I said that anyone needed my permission to do anything, which you can't, because I never said that.

Prattle on and have a nice millisecond.

"CNN cannot independently verify authenticity of the recording and is awaiting confirmation from the FBI."

'nuff said. I'll wait until it's actually validated.

Re: Attorney: New audio reveals pause in gunfire when Michael Brown was shot

Baden was answering a question about all the other wounds when he said all were consistent with them coming from the front. He agreed with Pacell that the forearm graze wound could be consistent with a wound from behind if Brown's arm was at his side.
Arms move in different positions and the graze wound could not be pegged to an orientation of Browns body when it was received.

Four independent people have descriptions of the events that tell the facts with consistency between them, because that is what they saw ...because that is what happened.
Thank you for the better video quality Excon.

Re: Attorney: New audio reveals pause in gunfire when Michael Brown was shot

This is exactly the kind of thread people shouldn't make until ALL the evidence is publicly available.
`
Actually, what you are seeing here is a segment of the "Court of Popular Opinion" being played out. This is where the true verdict is rendered, not in a "Court of Law." (/sarc)

Re: Attorney: New audio reveals pause in gunfire when Michael Brown was shot

The number of and timing of the shots says nothing about the relative positions or movements of the shooter or target.

Re: Attorney: New audio reveals pause in gunfire when Michael Brown was shot

Or just as likely that he was lying on the ground with blood seeping out of multiple bullet wounds, eh?

How can anyone really know if they weren't an eyewitness?

And in cases like these you wouldn't really want to believe eyewitnesses in most cases.

Or till the jury comes back on the case.

Re: Attorney: New audio reveals pause in gunfire when Michael Brown was shot

Read my post above and compare it to the four eye-witness accounts of what they saw and heard.
The audio is perfectly consistent with the witness accounts.

That's as likely a scenario as Excon's. wonder what the GJ will have to say?

Might be a little backing and filling going on in the near future.

Anyone who doesn't have much real evidence to support their position can always spread a little BS in an effort to try to make it look like they have something.

Of course no one on this forum would ever stoop to that, eh?

I'm suggesting exactly what I said - that he was lying on the ground with blood seeping out of him.

Do you have any real evidence to the contrary?

If so. let's see it.

That's not how theories work. Otherwise, I could say "I think Brown had a gun and shot the first six and someone came and took the gun afterword. Prove me wrong."

Re: Attorney: New audio reveals pause in gunfire when Michael Brown was shot

11 shots with six entry wounds. A homicide investigation would look in to where the other five rounds went. One thing stands out on this case, if this punk had parents that raised him he would be alive today. He was a big guy physically we see in the video where he threatens the much smaller store owners by getting in his face and his belligerent attitude with the cop got his punk ass killed. Now we see his useless dad with his mouth wide open like a whale eating krill at the wake. Hey pop, maybe you and your woman should have done a better job of raising this now corpse. Anyone know what this punks grades were in school or did he just pass on school?

Re: Attorney: New audio reveals pause in gunfire when Michael Brown was shot

Anyone else disturbed by the creepiness of the recording owner's voice in the video? Monotone; sounds like he's reading a script...poorly, I might add.

I'm still curious to see what the FBI concludes with the authenticity of the recording. Coming out this late in the game, missing the initial shot that happened in the car, and the guy's voice sounding so staged really makes me wonder if this recording is even worthy of debate.

Lawrence O'Donnell is a seething idiot.

Just sayin. You should pick and chose your news outlets a little better.

Re: Attorney: New audio reveals pause in gunfire when Michael Brown was shot

Is this exactly what the witnesses described? Brown was running and Wilson got out of his car shooting at Brown's back. There's no pause for Brown to "taunt" Wilson.

Brown wasn't shot in the back.

The witness lied

Re: Attorney: New audio reveals pause in gunfire when Michael Brown was shot

Good thing I didn't say he was shot in the back.

Wilson shot AT Brown's back.

Also, why are you claiming the witnesses lied? If they thought he got shot in the back, then that's what they thought. It doesn't mean they were trying to deceive anyone.

Re: Attorney: New audio reveals pause in gunfire when Michael Brown was shot

Eleven shots eh?
That's not at all consistent with the four to six the police are saying...hmmmmmm
...I wonder why they would lie about a thing like that.

The reports about the 4 to 6 shots were about how many hit him, not how many were rounds were fired in total.
