Like, I would expect this sort of thing to be a right-wing satire of left wing media, but.....

For weeks after the attack, The Associated Press attempted to reach survivors, who stayed out of the public eye. Many spent weeks outside Lebanon for medical treatment. Most in the group’s tight-knit community remained quiet while Hezbollah investigated the massive security breach.... A representative of Hezbollah’s Association of Wounded did share with AP the contacts of eight people who had expressed readiness to share their stories...

So... they literally allowed a terror organization to pick their sources for them.... and... they are so used to doing this with HAMAS and others that (apparently) it never even crossed their mind that that may be some kind of a problem.

The hours of interviews offered a rare glimpse into the attack's human toll. Survivors described how the incessantly buzzing pagers exploded when picked up, whether they pressed a button or not. Some said their ears still ring from the blast. ”I’ve put up with so much pain I never imagined I could tolerate,” said Jaffal, a university graduate.

Poor "University Graduate" Jafal. Who joined Lebanese Hizballah as a militant. But his story pales in comparison to the pain undergone by Mahdi.

...Mahdi Sheri, a 23-year-old Hezbollah fighter, had been ordered back to the frontline on the day of the attack. Before leaving, he charged his pager and spent time with family. For his security, no mobile phones were allowed in the house while he was there.... His pager usually vibrated. This time, it beeped. He approached to check for Hezbollah warnings or directives. He saw the message: “Error,” then “Press OK.” He followed the prompt. He felt a sharp pain in his head and eyes. His bed was covered in blood. Thinking he had been hit by a drone, he stumbled outside and passed out. He was first treated in Syria, then in Iraq as hospitals in Lebanon struggled to handle the high number of patients. Shrapnel was removed from his left eye socket and he had a prosthetic eye installed. For a while, he could see shadows with his remaining eye. With time, that dimmed. He can no longer play football. Hezbollah is helping him find a new job...

:shakes fist at sky: Truly, does the evil of the Jews know no bounds??!!!?

As a reminder - the beeper strike on Lebanese Hizballah was one of the most - if not the most - targeted, scoped, minimally-destructive strike on any enemy group at that scale in the history of modern warfare.

I mean, AP has been deliberately censoring its own reporting to support Islamist Terrorism against Israel for years, but, this is just.... ridiculous.

Israeli != Jew
Jew != Israeli

That one line ruins any point you might be making. You can be opposed to what Israel has done without being anti-Jew.

1. The tension was intentional because the line was a joke.
2. However, if someone opposes the beeper attack as some kind of indiscriminate war crime, yeah, at that point, they are really just opposed to Israel defending itself, and, yeah, at that point, I am pretty much willing to go ahead and say this person is a lot more likely to be using one term to hide another.

It was an act of war. It's way past time we stopped walking on eggshells around this pariah state and recognised it for what it is; a murderous genocidal and racist apartheid state, no better than the vile South Africa Israel so enthusiastically supported.

It was an act of war.

As were the rockets that Lebanese Hizballah had been raining into Israel since Oct 8th.

That's the thing about starting a war against your neighbor. It turns out they may engage in acts of war at you, too.

oops.

Except, of course, for the lack of any actual genocide or racial classification system that actually made up apartheid.

Arabs serve in the Knesset. They serve in the IDF. They serve in the Supreme Court. They go to the same schools. There are no job fields forbidden to Arabs, nor are they sequestered into neighborhoods where only they can live. I appreciate you bringing the apartheid accusation, though, because it does highlight where folks like that are coming from.

Delusional; a few token Arabs with influence are in those positions. The reality for Israeli Arabs is very different to the propaganda you've been fed. You might also consider why Ethiopian Jews are ostracised and turned away by this morally pure and welcoming Israel, and why she was so supportive of South Africa, in the full knowledge that massacres of her indigenous population were happening-and just because there's no tangible or official apartheid legislation in place, doesn't mean it isn't happening. What a dumb comment.
The UN, of which Israel is a member state, has condemned Israeli atrocities, 147 of 193 member states recognise Palestine, and also recognises genocide is happening.

Your comments are typical of lock-step, blind loyalists and apologists for Israel's routine law breaking, violations of international law, the laws of occupation, international humanitarian law, and both the Hague and Geneva conventions. Of course you'll argue the contrary, but I have examples of all Israel's violations available, free of charge, upon request.

A reminder: the only reason Hezbollah has the influence it does is Israel attempted to turn Lebanon into a puppet state and grab a chunk of their land.

:lol: We Know It's Apartheid And The Fact That Apartheid Rules Aren't Actually In Place Just Proves How Sneaky The Apartheid Really Is. :D
